no really I did watch the video but NASA was about a 10 minute drive from where I grew up. I went to Church with a man who worked there. My neighbor worked there. One of my best friends was a guard there and so I've been inside NASA so many times it got old,but it's really fascinating at first. If you get the chance you should go look at all the spacecraft and such they have on display(it's like a museum). If you go there most of the things will have things to read explaining how they work/worked. I'm not aware of anyone who thinks that they are images as a camera takes, but they are images made from detecting electromagnetic frequency and waves. We can make images from frequencies that are not in the visible spectrum (Xray for example). They can still detect objects.

(BTW I lived in Houston for a number of years and have visited NASA.)

Well your still thinking in terms of IR when EIT/MDI could also measure things like magnetic fields. In any event though the obvious is that the earth revolves around the sun once a year and so in a years time we can see everything around the sun in a full circle and so we've seen what is behind it and there was no sun/planet hiding there.

What about post 145, 146 and 131? That is only a sampling of what is there. Not everyone can videotape or look at the sun you need to have the right filters. That is the earth spins around every 24 hours and it revolves around the sun once every year if there was another planet we wouldn't need anything special to see it it would be an eclipse(you can see every side of the sun).
