In present day American culture it is so common for victims to struggle with what happened to them their whole lives. In truth, I think that just lots of us put it behind us as much as possible and go on to live wholesome lives. To do otherwise is to let the perpetrator win. That scripture has been such an encouragement: "A name that can not be taken away".

In Islam, it is taught that suffering and hardship are teaching from God. I have not seen the concept in Christianity or Judaism.
See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. Isaiah 48:10

Nice to meet you ,ZNP, and have you joining in the discussions:) I am also intrigued by the Bible codes and I'm thinking probably all our names are embedded in the Bible somewhere with annotations next to them. God is so eternally superior in intelligence, this would be just another facet of His Omniscience. God bless you!
