In my area in NW Oregon, USA, we've seen heat and drought not seen in my almost 70 years in the area. Wildfires are producing hazardous breathing conditions all over the West. My prayers to those who are suffering. Are we experiencing the approach of the End of Days?

It's hard to say for sure, but it's as if the world is reaching its use by date. I am convinced that the church is responsible for the state of a nation. We are supposed to be salt, a preservative, and light shining in the darkness to lead people to Christ. While many people are better off with technology, food availability and less poverty, morally the Western world is bankrupt. Maybe this will cause Christians to reevaluate their lives and cause many to repent. I hope so. If not, Christians in the Western world will find out what life is like for our brethren in Iran, Iraq or Pakistan.

well, looking at that logically, I would ask since it has been 70 years, were they asking if it was the end 70 years ago?

I think people need to understand just how very much the earth experiences fluctuations and changes and that much of it is natural phenomena.

for example, ever hear of the Medieval Warm Period?

The Medieval Warm Period (MWP), also known as the Medieval Climate Optimum or the Medieval Climatic Anomaly, was a time of warm climate in the North Atlantic region that lasted from c. 950 to c. 1250.[2] It was likely[3] related to temperature increases elsewhere,[4][5][6] but other regions meanwhile got colder, such as the tropical Pacific. Average global mean temperatures have been calculated to be similar to the early-mid-20th-century warming. Possible causes of the Medieval Warm Period include increased solar activity, decreased volcanic activity, and changes in ocean circulation.[7]

The Medieval Warm Period was followed by a cooler period in the North Atlantic and elsewhere, which is termed the Little Ice Age. Some refer to the event as the Medieval Climatic Anomaly to emphasize that climatic effects other than temperature were also important.[8][9]

It is thought that between c.  950 and c.  1100 was the Northern Hemisphere's warmest period since the Roman Warm Period. It was only in the 20th and the 21st centuries that the Northern Hemisphere has experienced higher temperatures.[citation needed] Climate proxy records show peak warmth occurred at different times for different regions, which indicate that the Medieval Warm Period was not a globally-uniform event. wiki

they didn't call it global warming ;)

plenty of other examples to be found.

No, that movie came out like 20 years ago. (Sorry, I miss the days when I could be happy with life just by watching Arnold shoot and blow things up).

Technically the "end times' started a long time ago- fires and floods, and hurricanes, and tornadoes, and wars, and rumors of wars, and weapons of mass destruction, and terror killings, and cults, and evil world government leaders, and anti-christs, and hippie psychoenvironmentalists, and mass mind control, and windows me, and MS13 in migrant caravans, and Britney Spears...

All those things were foretold that were to happen before the end, but but we're not supposed to flip out, quit our jobs, and hide in a ditch, and eat maggots, and drink gutter runoff. It's stretched out over time. "occupy till I come".

Matthew 24:44
Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Proverbs 27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring.

Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 24:26-27
So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
-------------------------
You will not be able to know when the end comes, so don't concern yourself with these things. When Jesus comes it will be impossible to miss. Therefore, you need not worry about interpreting omens or events or predicting the future.

You need to concern yourself with this:

1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
