Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against His Anointed One:
“Let us break Their chains and cast away Their cords.”
The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord taunts them. Then He rebukes them in His anger, and terrifies them in His fury:
“I have installed My King on Zion, upon My holy mountain.”
Christians need to be careful not to give Satan too much glory. Yes, there are people who are 100% in league with the devil. Yes, they are some of the most powerful and secretive people. Yes, there are real moves to control people and prepare for the coming Antichrist.
We need to be careful not to divide the world into "good" and "evil" That is the consequence of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The whole world system is rotten to the core and it is destined to be replaced by God's kingdom.
The one thing that unites the world is opposition to the Lord Jesus. Much is made of the wrong treatment of Muslim Uighurs in China. Yet they have been persecuting Christians since communism took over. Nothing said, even less done about it. Supposedly "Christian" Britain is beholden to the Arab nations, the same people who have persecuted Christians and driven Jews out almost completely.
We need to remember that Lord Jesus overcame the world. We need to know that Satan is already defeated. We need to know that God is infinitely greater than the combined forces of darkness, both men and fallen angels.
God has installed the King of Kings, Lord Jesus, on Zion. Zion represents the born again spirit of the Christian. Let's make sure that we are glorifying Lord Jesus in what we have to say about "Deep State" and the events going on in the world.
When I was a child, my younger brother was prone to furious anger. He'd take a swing at older kids who tormented him. He would close his eyes and just keep lashing out. One day I was called to help. There he was, wildly swinging at a much bigger kid. The boy had his hand on my brother's head and so he was out of reach. Not one punch landed. And so it is with the devil, if we will focus on who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us. We have the victory. Let's live in it.
