That's beside the point. A Scripture specifically applied to Christ has been perversely applied to Trump. It is very doubtful that any Christian would indulge in this kind of blasphemy. But Trump has scores of enemies. The general public may not even see the significance.
I don't think it's beside the point at all.

If Christians sponsored those Billboards, they're fools guilty of Blasphemy at the very least.

Christians learning of these Billboards can and likely do take offense. However, the takeaway we may choose to consider, so that this absurd display isn't what the sponsor(s) intended, blasphemy, mockery of Trump "followers", etc... Is the truth that does rise up and assure all of us these boards, whatever the true intention behind them, and that actually defeats the negative intent, is that truth that withstands any slings and arrows to ever come against us.
We are and shall eternally be in this world, daughters and sons of God.

These boards are getting the attention their sponsor(s) intended. When they're really only as important as attention paid them affords.

What led me to think at first this was a spoof, like the Billboard meme maker sites out there, is the REAGAN plaque under the one board message.

Ronald Reagan, Republican, Donald Trump, Republican. RR, suffering Dimentia near the end of his second term. Trump critics claiming near the end of his first term that both Biden and Trump were mentally compromised.

Either way, whatever the intention, it was only as important or offensive as we allow.

I'm surprised anyone is surprised by this billboard really. Being objective, I could 100% see the poster of this billboard being a sincere follower of Trump, no different than many people I've seen speak about him on this very forum. The reverence for Trump by many has been comparable to the reverence and divinity of our ONLY Savior Jesus Christ.

I can also see this being someone who is anti-Trump, mocking Trump's followers as many people have treated him as a golden calf (I call him orange calf). Either way, it's pretty sad that we can't be definitively certain who posted these billboards unless we investigate it.

I find the US election process fascinating because I am overseas. Also that within Europe although there are multiple States each state has there independent power.
It feels like there is too much power given to one person over their. I think things would change if there was a limit on the amount of money and individual could spend on a campaign.
Also a limit on the number of donations that can be made.
Education that encourages people to read rather than follow news media, that is run by corporations who have their own agendas.
Politics and policies need to be taught in schools.
Its not just there, it is congress. They need term limits on congress. People stay there for years and get to much power.

i don't feel like making a new thread..

according to internal Trump memos filed recently in court, the Trump campaign knew very early on that their claims about voting machine tampering were false, but they kept on pushing their 'fake news' anyway, even filing multiple lawsuits that they knew were frivolous, seeking to destroy our entire form of government for the vain sake of holding on to fame & power:

LINK: Trump Campaign Knew They Were Lying To You And Did It Anyway - They Know You'll Buy What They Are Selling

so, the obvious narrative that Trump et. al. were pushing "the big lie" to try to steal the election they lost, all the while knowing full well it is a lie, has some more evidence today.
yet a large percentage of you today still believe the lie, and the liar.

"sad"

The thought crossed my mind that it might be from a non Trump supporter.
You mean that thought only crossed your mind? One one sees the nature of the board I would think that thought would have been the major one and only one.

There are certain groups of Fringe cuckoos who thought Trump was sent by God
Sure but critics need to be honest and understand just what they mean by sent by God. Sent by God to be a Messiah? (as these mocking bill boards portray) NO. But sent by God to achieve a certain thing yes perhaps true. I'm sure a great many believe that Winston Churchill came about as such a time as he was too....doesn't mean they believed he was some type of saint. Could be some of you Americans think Abraham Lincoln or George Washington that Providence has something to do with them too. Doesn't mean people worshipped them.
