Just saw this article where archeologists are trying to claim that a giant space rock hit and destroyed a middle eastern city (aka Sodom). According to them, the blast was so strong it knocked down Jericho.

Oh. My. :LOL::LOL:

I just...can't even. They're trying to dismiss TWO historical Bible stories by inventing a Space Rock of Mass Destruction instead of just taking the archeological evidence as proof that the Bible is TRUTH.

I'm laughing but at the same time I'm just appalled at how willfully ignorant this all is!

Saw that today myself, and was just floored!! When got to the part that said "one minute later, the walls of Jericho were blown down and the city burned", I got mad and quit reading that garbage. Actually, have pretty much quit reading "news" anymore, because it isn't news. Any thing to try and discredit The Lord God Almighty, and His Word, and society gobbles it up. Is truly sad, Sister.

They are children of the father of lies. When he lies, he speaks his native tongue. We would do well to disregard all they say.

Meh. If you're that unhealthy that you're at risk of death from the flu, go on a diet, start exercising, stop with all the junk-food and get some Ivermectin just in case.

I'm 46 and one of my classmates just died from it. I'm not trying to die. I'm a little overweight but other than that I'm relatively healthy. However older people tend to have more respiratory distress from it and I'm not getting any younger

jesus's disciples was a doctor
Surely you don't want us to take this literally. I suspect you are referring to Luke and this reference is a little confusing, he wasn't one of the disciples mentioned in the gospels, but yes, after the resurrection he was a disciple of Jesus. But the real confusion is are you saying that Luke was possessed by a bunch of the Lord's disciples like the demon possessed man who was possessed by a legion of demons?

Are all of these misspellings intentional?

what phone are you talking about?
I meant on this forum. I've been here for 10 years so I've noticed there's a heavy anti-science and ant i medical bias on this forum
Which doesn't really make any sense seeing one of jesus's disciples was a physician

I have noticed that those who claim to be "pro science" like Biden are liars and use it only when it is convenient and toss it when it isn't. I have also noticed that those who are vaccine hesitant are often the best informed. I am a science teacher, have a master's degree and 75 post graduate hours and have learned more about medicine in this last year than ever before (I studied physical science, not life science).

There are a lot of bogus claims by those who think being vaccine hesitant is anti medicine when in fact at most you could say they are anti sorcery. I have no issue with vaccines that are based on the theory of taking the real virus, doing something to it to make it incapable of working, and then giving it to you for your body to see it and develop immunity. That to me is the bronze serpent put on a pole.

However, I am much more cautious of some arrogant scientist thinking he can fiddle with my DNA and mRNA. When using an experimental vaccine for something like Covid when we have never been able to get a working vaccine I would want animal trials and the full protocol which includes 12 years. I also want full transparency. I don't want the person giving me the "cure" to be the same guy who designed the disease. And I want all of these people to respect science which includes natural immunity and a person's right to make decisions concerning their own body.

I am also against them changing the definition of vaccine to include things that don't give you immunity, don't prevent you from transmitting the disease, and don't protect you from become very sick. That creates confusion because when people talk about how wonderful vaccines are they are not talking about this new vaccine, they are talking about those in the old definition that actually gives you immunity and prevents you from transmitting the disease. But then they think that includes this new "vaccine" which doesn't do any of that.
