Let's consider what happens if the US declares bankruptcy.

You have two options, totally destroy your credit by refusing to ever pay and act like Scarface making a last stand. The US represents 5% of the world's population and doesn't manufacture anything. We will go down in a hail of bullets without any allies.

Option 2, you submit to the bankers onerous demands. They could come in and seize assets and money out of bank accounts. Think about all the assets the Fed has bought recently, they have been buying up the debt of the S&P 500, the bankers would own US businesses.k They would control the laws and they would control hiring and firing. They could tax us into oblivion, that is what many conquering powers have done.

Since they own the debt of these corporations they could demand payment and thus cause all our businesses to be sold at fire sale rates. They will devour the US and turn you all into slaves.

The $6 trillion that Biden's administration is throwing around would be the knockout punch. Right now they would have the US government in a fire sale, throw in the $6 trillion and US assets belonging to citizens would be included.

We will not get top dollar for our assets. 40-60% of small businesses are expected to declare bankruptcy. Imagine if you have a mass sell off of S&P assets as well as these small business foreclosures. Prices for everything will be rock bottom.
