Are you in trouble?
Don’t try to get rid of it through turpitude. Pray!
• Pro 15:29 -> “The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.”.
• 1Pe 3:10-12 -> “For he that wants to love life and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile. Let him turn aside from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears open to their prayers. But the Lord's face is against those who do evil.”.
No man shall hold his life strong in iniquity (Eze 7:13). Let alone circumventing his life with cares:
• Luk 12:25,26 -> “And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his stature? If then you are not able to do even the least, why are you anxious about the rest?”.
Don’t mind the problem! The best option is to come boldly to the throne of the grace (Heb 4:16), putting ourselves under the powerful hand of Jesus (1Pe 5:5-7). After all:
• Psa 138:6 -> “Though Jehovah is high, yet He has respect to the lowly; but the proud He knows afar off.”.
And, in Christ, we have an advantage that many people still don’t have:
• Eph 2:12,13 -> “and that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who were once afar off are made near by the blood of Christ.”.
If we don’t abide by His commandments, we don’t have the right of repining when some ordeal comes:
• Psa 10:1 -> “Why do You stand afar off, O Jehovah? Will You hide in times of trouble?”.
So, have a iridescent day letting your requests be made known unto God in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving (Phil 4:6).
