Is your heart elated?

If not, see what it is necessary!

• Pro 15:30 -> “The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.”.

Did you see how the enlightened eyes are healthful?

• Ecc 11:7 -> “Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:”.

It comes the question: by any chance the natural light is sufficient for this? Certainly not! Thus, what can we do in order to procure the true light?

• Isa 58:10,11 -> “And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”.

And the importance of assisting the needy is so important that Moses wrote:

• Deu 15:9-11 -> “Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.”

Being merciful toward the needy, the Creator will be our light:

• Rev 21:23 -> “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”.
• Rev 22:5 -> “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”.
• Ezra 9:8 -> “And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.”.

Let’s not look on our own things, but on what is important to the others too (Php 2:4), what sounds joyful to them:

• Psa 89:14,15 -> “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.”.

And nothing is more delightful than the light of the righteous:

• Pro 13:9 -> “The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.”.

So, have a splendid day keeping your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Pro 4:23):

• 1Jn 2:9-11 -> “He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes”.
