Ok i herd a brother say do you know any apostles who preached there is remission of sins in hell. Ok bare in mind this is a poll just for Jugdement of people not Satan

Peronally speaking here if a punishement has been set and given a time period of punishment i would of thought there would be no point in repenting or begging for forgiveness in hell. but i guess people would once the punishement has been set in motion but that does not mean they will be let out or at least not untill God sees fit. That is if he does let people out once there in hell.

So i have to look at thees two theese two scriptures to begin that suggest that the punishment of hell may not be forever or instant death of the soul.

25 “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. 26 Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

Adultery
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[e] 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

Ok my dear brothers and sisters as we can see theese two verse Directly follow each other. So could this mean that the punishment for hell is not forever. and as we all so see the bottom verse indicates suffering in hell and not instant death of the soul.

There are meany more verses to suggest God does punish for long periods and then let people go for sins they can go to hell for. plus there are verses to suggest that people do die with sin befor they have had chance to be punished correctly in the body.

Then there are verses that seem to suggest any sin can be worthy of hell which people are forgiven for in the body when alive but yet can go to hell for also

Since hell is for the lost/unsaved, no, they will not be saved after death. The Bible teaches that there is no second chance for salvation after death, for “man is appointed to die once, and after that to face judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). A person can accept Christ during their life time and be saved (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31) but once one dies, there is no more chance for salvation. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved (Romans 10:10).

Ps 115:17 . .The dead do not praise The Lord, nor do any who go down
into silence

"The dead" in this Psalm likely refers to the impious folks spoken of in verses
2-8.

"any who go down into silence" are again the impious folks described in
verses 2-8.

Psalm 115 tells me that those folks in verses 2 thru 8 might just as well be
mute in the afterlife because The Lord no longer lends them His ear, i.e.
they're dead to God and permanently cut off from His benevolence, viz: The
Lord has no interest whatsoever in either hearing their prayers, nor
regarding their worship.

Compare them to the folks spoken of in verse 18 which reads:

"It is we who extol The Lord, both now and forevermore."

Ergo: the time to seek God's favor is now in this life, rather than later after
people have passed on and realized their mistake.

The primo parallel to that is Jacob's brother Esau. Upon realizing the loss of
his father Isaac's blessing, Esau broke down sobbing like a little girl, begging
for another chance; but to no avail.

Isa 55:6 . . Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is
near.

I do have some concerns with your interpretation of scripture here.. because when you are alive in the body God does not hear peoples wickedness either but yet still forgives them,, we also see that its never to late to return back to the lord while you are alive in the body to.. your interpretation here does not say that he will not hear you ever never again.. but what it is does say to me is he will not hear you forever untill he can hear you... in other words he will only hear you again when he may see fit, which could be forever.. but seeing as forever is forever. there is no end to forever.. so the lord says in other scripture you will not get out untill you have payed every last penny and this could be forever untill i know that you have.. or punishement could be set to eternal.. but eternal could be eternal until the lord says other wise... so the lord punishes you tomorrow and says you are sentenced to eternal punishement.. meaning the punishement is eternal unless i say other wise but because this part is missing from scripture does not mean that it is not still implied in other scripture.. because scripture does say punishement can be untill the lord seems fit to let the person go, which can be set at eternal.

Since eternity has no end to the lord then eternity is not an ending.

I have had experiences where I was briefly in hell in my state of sleep but was let out when I woke up.

Once your physical body dies, if you are in hell, then that is it. Your next stop is the GWT judgment and then the lake of fire if your name isn't written in the Lamb's Book of Life (and how can it be if your waiting time was in hell?).

Not getting out until you pay the last penny means that when you have fully paid for all your sins, you will be let out of hell.

The problem is, you will be continuing to commit sins in hell if you have never been born again. So you will be perpetually adding to that which deserves punishment as you continue to suffer in that place (I picture people blaspheming the name of God because of the suffering that they will go through). And even if you catch up and have paid everything, you will surely sin again; and back into hell you will go; because you have not been born again and therefore the sin nature has not been dealt with.

I think that it is a very sad thing also, @Poinsetta.

However a person dies they will stay like that for eternity.

Jesus told the Pharisees if they did not believe who He was they would die in their sins.

There is no good thing that dwells in the flesh and all sin resides in the flesh which a saint puts off the flesh with the sin and their soul is preserved.

That is why we can be saved because we are in the flesh.

But angels cannot be saved because they are one being so when they sinned they had nowhere to put off the sin so they tainted their entire being with no reversal.

If a person dies in their sins there is nowhere to put off the sin but their whole being is tainted so they will stay that way for eternity.

If a person can be forgiven in hell then so could the fallen angels which the fallen angels will not be forgiven so the people cannot be forgiven.

A person cannot be forgiven in hell.

We only get the chance to be saved while on earth.

angels are different to humans they are not flesh they are spirit soul only. so when they sin it is there soul that sins. this is one of the reasons i said in the op that we can not compare the same punishement that is awaiting fallen angels to humans all tho i havent said as much untill now.. how can the soul of human sin when the soul is not yet free as the scripture says the soul that sins is the soul that dies ? surely this is referred to as punishment for angels not humans ?.. now when you say a person can not be forgiven in hell should that not also mean a person must serve there punishment in hell. ?

where talkin about two different concepts here. because a lot of people would think if a person was sentenced to hell they where never saved in the body in the first place.. a person needing to be saved in hell does not cancel out the punishment once it has been set in motion, meaning once a person is convicted there is no way to overturn that conviction untill punishement is served. which may be forever but forever has no end.. and we could be talking billion and billions of years of forever but only the lord would know when you are purified ? which could mean even more of forever,

there was also the scripture of abraham hearing crys from hell too. so you do have a good point :)

That wasn’t Lazarus though. It was the rich man. But the rich man wasn’t looking at God in this story but saw Abraham and Lazarus in his bosom.

In a story told at Luke 16-19-31, the beggar Lazarus died and was
carried by angels to the afterlife. Curiously, the rich man's transportation
isn't specified.

One of the most disturbing scenes I've yet to observe in a Hollywood movie
occurs in "GHOST" starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. When someone
marked for the wrong side of the afterlife passes away, these eerie
phantoms emerge, having the appearance of black oily smoke, uttering awful
moans, and drag their panic-stricken prey down into the ground.

I don't know if that's how the rich man in Luke's story was transported, but
if so; I can well imagine just how shocking and horrifying it must've been for
him at death to suddenly be able to see menacing spirit creatures
surrounding him with looks on their faces that could only convey but one
unmistakable intent; and I suspect those sinister beings had been hovering
around that poor man and stalking him every day and night of his entire life
without him knowing it.

Spirits have the advantage of stealth. They're invisible to the naked eye and
as silent as the void. They cannot be detected with scientific instruments like
Xrays, Cat Scans, MRIs, or Geiger counters. They are tasteless, odorless, and
take up no space. They can't be bumped into, nor sensed, nor held check by
locked doors, closed windows, nor high walls. And to top that off, they are able
with tamper with a human's mind and body in ways too disturbing to contemplate.

Yes sir i have seen the movie. However sir the truth is not exactly full of truth when it comes to theese creatures, as they do rule this world. the truth i know about theese creatures is the same type you have described here as in the movie guost,,is the same type looking exactly the same black shadow smoke etc,, they torture and possess children under the age of accountabilty under ten years old... plus our heavenly wisdom is littered with there lies that a lot of people do not spot sir.

You don't understand the gospel at all. Read Romans .
1. "As it is written:
“There is no one righteous, not even one;" Romans 3:10

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

Every single person is a sinner. Sinners go to hell.

2. There is a way to escape hell, if you do it before you die.
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," Romans 5:1
justified = made righteous! How does this happen?

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless,Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wraththrough him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!" Romans 5:6-10

Christ died for us! Why? Because of his great love for us (v 8) Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit, who saves us. We believe and repent!

"For if, by the trespass of the one man, deathreigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ" Romans 4:17

The only way to be saved is through Jesus death on the. Cross. Jesus took ALL the punishment. We need. To acknowledge and understand that Jesus alone sets us free.

3. Only Jesus sets us free, in this life. No purgatory, masses or punishment by us will ever save us. Only the blood of Jesus!

"7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." 1 John 1:7

"For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross." Col. 1:19-20

"In him we have redemptionthrough his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace" Eph. 1:7

Nothing but Christ's blood can save. No works, no punishment. No Catholic rites & rituals.

4. When Christ saves us, we belong to him.

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you. free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1-2

"And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory." Eph. 1:13-14

"For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." Romans 8:14-17

This is the hope we have in Christ Jesus.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified." Roman's 8:28-30

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?33 Who will bring any chargeagainst those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Roman's 8:31-39

5. Again, one way to heaven! One way to God! God in his mercy gives us grace by faith!

"What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses,
“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." Roman's 9:14-15
5. Remember that our own obligation us to believe, confess and repent. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to do these things.

"Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." Roman's 10:4

"But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believein your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” Roman's 10:8-11

Read Romans a few times. It really lays out the gospel and salvation clearly!

The question in the OP Title is very misleading............ because of the word "still" I suspect.

Regardless, it is even more misleading to suggest to Christians, some of whom may be new/young believers, that they can live in sin, die, go to eternal damnation, and STILL receive eternal salvation somehow..........

...........goodness.............
