Christians are in training for living in heaven. We look to the best coach we can find to train us, and that coach is Christ. As we read the gospels, especially, it is the greatest training manual.

Living on earth is temporary, living with the Lord in heaven is eternal.

As we live our lives on earth, we gather what we need for heaven. Those wonderful clothes, that new car, the home we decorate so carefully are useless in heaven. What we can take with us is our love of the Lord, and the good we have for other people.

Going to heaven isn’t a vacation trip, it is our future home. Are you packing up what you will need there?
