Ever feel like the heavens have turned to sounding brass and though you pray and pray the answers don't seem to come as easily as they used to? You are not alone. When you look back and you see a single set of tracks in the desert you are crossing and you think God has forsaken you take comfort those tracks are not yours. God is carrying you! God NEVER forsakes us as His Love is Eternal; rest in Him, TRUST Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus!

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he
was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints
in the sand: one belonging to him, and the
other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before
him, he looked back at the footprints in the
sand. He noticed that many times along the path
of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the
Lord about it. ‘Lord, you said that once I decided
to follow you, you would walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome
times in my life, there is only one set of
footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed
you most you would leave me.’

The Lord replied, ‘My son, my precious child, I
love you and I would never leave you. During
your times of trial and suffering, when you see
only one set of footprints, it was then that
I carried you.’

There is only one you can always completely rely on, and that one is in the word. We have so many men over the 2,000 years after Christ, who tell us they can be trusted to tell you all about God, but don't you believe it unless they point you to the word.

Even our Godly saintly ministers can't be trusted if they lead you to what they learned in seminary rather than leading you to the word.

His truth sets us free and none but He can do it for us. The Bible clearly shows it again and again it's only God that gives the increase. The Way has been given, God is there to be found.

It's best when there is only one set of footprints. That is true rest, whatever the situation..

I never want to see more than one set of footprints. I always need to be carried.

Lam 3:42, We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.
Lam 3:43, Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.
Lam 3:44, Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.
Lam 3:45, Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.

Me too...that's why I seek first the righteousness of Christ Jesus

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ~KJV
