I am now 57 almost 58 years old. My grandfather who came from Oklahoma and raised me was 18 years older than my grandmother because in old days men chose wife's to tend to the children while the men worked there farms and plowed the fields. My grandfather was retired and my grandmother was at work when they started raising me. One day when I was fourteen years old, me and my grandfather was on the porch fixing a motor for a swamp cooler. We decided to take a lunch break and ate right on the porch on the steps, he cut some cheese with his pocket knife and give me a weenie out of the package. Then as we were eating he thought and then all of a sudden looked at me with a real serious look and asked me if I knew who JESUS was, and I said no. He told me he was the son of GOD and told me about faith. He also told me even if it don't make since to me that I should just believe. Well that next weekend I went to my parents house to spend the weekend and visit my siblings. That Sunday me and my oldest sister which I was real close with and only 15 months younger than me went to a little church not far from the house were she lived. Me and my sister Dorothy both asked JESUS into are hearts and life, then about a month later after classes got baptized. That was back in 1978. I have been studying and following Jesus for almost 44 years now.
