The death of Jesus was the greatest gift God could ever give the world. Do you still imagine Him dead today?

BroTan, if you’ve been redeemed by Christ and you also endeavor to keep the law you will not be fulfilled. You will come under the curse of the law. You will live as a “sinner“ and never a son.

I believe that people come under the curse of the law (Galatians 3:10) when they attempt to be justified by the law (see Galatians 5:1-4).

However, for those who know that they are justified solely through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, they can move forward and onward to "obedience to the faith" (Romans 1:5) and "the obedience of faith" (Romans 16:26).

For these, the law ceases to be a curse and becomes a blessing instead (James 1:25).

Please read the quote below with an honest heart.

Gods Children do not sin. They are saved from sin in more then one way.
If you transgress the law you are a sinner.

faith comes first. By faith you accept the justification of Jesus, and by faith you obey the law because you love Jesus. Freed from the sin of the past and freed from the sin of the future by faith. We do not continue in sin (trasgression of the law) by faith or grace, we obey the law.

1Jn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith?
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace?
Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin?

@BroTan,

Act 13:39, And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Again that part of the conversation was talking about the animal sacrificial law, let's prove this in the same chapter.

Let's start at verse 32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, 33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. 34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. 35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: 37 but he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

39 and by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. 40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; 41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish:
For I work a work in your days, A work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. 42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. 43Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. 44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Some Jews had a problem with Jesus and continue the the old letter, which at that time was the animal sacrificial law, not taking heed to the fact that Jesus came and died and became that final sacrifice. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. (Hebrews 10: 8-14)

Notice in Acts 13: 42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. 44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Now this is the Commandments thats was being kept in this chapter, they keeping the Sabbath day all alone, thats why it's says and the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. Because the Laws, Statues and Judgements are still good to this day. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (Exodus 20: 1-17)

That makes no sense. You are spewing new age religion universalism ......that all will be saved..... upon judgement, after physical death.

Why did God give us unlimited times we can get forgiveness for sins? Because He expects us to endeavor to be perfect but, per scriptures, we will have trouble doing that during our life. Thus, unlimited times of sin forgiveness is provided.

The law was good to eat and desired to make one wise....The truth..The law causes death. To be wise you have to hate evil.It's not enough to know this is good and that's bad.We sinned before the law or eating the fruit was not a sin.
When dealing with the word of God it's always good to copy and paste scriptures and verses, when fellowshipping. It look like you are taking about Genesis 3: 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Adam and Eve didn't listen to God, instead they choose to talk to Satan. That's right, talk to Satan, that's who the serpent is. (Rev. 20:1-2) (v.1) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (v.2) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And they didn't eat an apple. (Can an apple make you wise?) But yea they ate fruit all right, the fruit of lies. (Hosea 10:14) Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men. And man has been dying ever since. So what if Adam and Eve hadn't listened to Satan and obeyed God? Man would have eaten from the tree of life (Jesus) and learned how to live forever. Can we understand the significance of that, do we know how far man has fallen.

Fist i like to say eve saw the the devil as pleasing to look at not the fruit "who" is a 3rd person masculine personal pronoun {hay vav olive} h1931 and Paul is saying the bible causes death without the law sin is dead i would not have known sin if not for the law,,,,,,,,lastly as far as the bible is concerned Adam had not talk to the serpent.

It was a comment in relation to keeping the law nothing about universalism (which is wrong).

Next time ask some clarifying questions before accusing someone of believing a false doctrine. Had you read my other posts you would have known the context of the post.

The whole law was summed up in "Love your neighbor as yourself" yet Jesus provided a new commandment "Love one another as I have loved you". If you can't see the simplicity in this to understand that One who is greater than the law is our Lord, then I cannot help you. I also have no use for what you share on this site as it will be corrupted by your adherence to the law. You're now ignored.

Romans 3:31 ‘Do we then cancel the law through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary we uphold the law”

How can faith uphold the law?
Because we are believing in Christ who met the righteous requirements of the law, satisfying it completely and on our behalf.

We follow Christ and are led by the Spirit.

Scripture makes it very clear that no one will be justified before God by attempting to keep the law.

=========================================================
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in h Jesus Christ to all who believe.

Do we through out the law because Jesus kept it perfectly, Do we though out the law because grace abounds, does the law have any purpose today? sure we are not able to be Justified by the keeping of the law...but do we make it void?

You are missing the point if you believe that the law of liberty is made void today. We were created perfectly and had no need for a written law when we were first created because it was in our hearts and minds to do the right thing. Because of sin and our need to understand what sin is God gave the laws. Some laws were to end at the cross but some are principles of love.

Jesus wants to write those laws on our hearts and minds again today. God did not solve the sin problem by taking the law away.

Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Sounds good what you saying, but I want to say the Bible doesn't cause death, sin does. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Roman 6: 23)

No, it wasn't.

When the Bible speaks of the law, it is generally referring to the moral tenets in the Old and New Testaments.
If you can't understand by now that Paul talks about two different laws, and you continue to quote and quote Pauls writing then you will be in error. Because you don't understand the Old Testament and what's going on today. God had Peter to clearly warn us about some of Paul’s writing. (2Peter:3:15-16) (v.15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; (v.16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Now take heed to this warning, you can’t ignore all the bible and just concentrate on a hand full of verses out of the writings of Paul. Because some of Paul’s writing is hard to be understood. Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. You have to rightly divide the word of truth.
