An Irish man in hospital with COVID was convinced by some insane anti-vaxxers to check himself out and go home. That turned out to be a big mistake. Two days later he was back in the hospital, in far worse shape than he had been in previously. Today, they buried Joe McCarron.

Joe McCarron, 75, who was featured in a video being removed from Letterkenny University Hospital against the advice of his doctors, has passed away.
McCarron's funeral is set to be held in his native Dungloe, Co Donegal this Sunday, according to an announcement shared on RIP.ie on Friday afternoon.
Video of McCarron leaving Letterkenny University Hospital with the help of Antonio Mureddu Gravegliu began to circulate on social media on September 14.
"We are saving Joe's life," Gravegliu says in the video. "Today is a winning day for Ireland." He goes on to thank Dr. Dolores Cahill, a prominent figure in Ireland’s anti-vaccination movement.
A doctor pleads with McCarron in the video to stay in the hospital: “You have the right to decide what you want to do.
“You’re barely able to breathe,” the doctor says. “We want you to stay to help you.”
Gravegliu, who was wearing a mask under his chin, tells McCarron, “If you stay here, they going to f***ing kill you, Joe.”

Pastor Who Nearly Died From COVID Regrets Not Getting Vaccinated: 'I Was Wrong'
By Brendan Cole On 7/27/21 at 4:30 AM EDT

A pastor from North Texas has spoken of his regret at not getting vaccinated against COVID-19 after he got so sick from the disease and doctors told him he may need a lung transplant.
The experience of Danny Reeves adds to the growing number of stories by Americans who have expressed remorse at not getting the jab and have sometimes ended up seriously ill.
Reeves, who preaches at the First Baptist Church in Corsicana, tested positive in early July after he started feeling body aches and other symptoms.

He then was admitted to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, where his blood oxygen levels dropped to such a dangerous level that he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.

"The doctor came in and said, 'You're going to the ICU'... and said that I needed to have a reality check that I could die," Reeves told Fox 4.

Over two days in the ICU, his condition was touch-and-go and at one point doctors said he might need a lung transplant.

"I cried in here. I had emotional moments in here. I had regret in here," he told the network, "I recognized that I had been a bit cavalier. That almost cost me."

Fortunately, a treatment course, which included remdesivir and steroids saw him make a recovery, which he said was aided by his faith, his church community and his medical team.

"I didn't mean to be cavalier. I didn't mean to be overconfident," he said. "But there's a lot of people just like me that haven't gotten the vaccine."

"I've been taught a lesson, and I'm big enough and humble enough to say I was wrong," added Reeves.

Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has expressed alarm that in areas of low vaccination coverage, cases and hospitalizations are up.

"Phil got it wrong"; Family encourages vaccination after Phil Valentine's COVID-19 death

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - For the first time since the death of radio talk show host Phil Valentine, his brother spoke exclusively with News4 about his legacy and what message he wants others to learn from this tragedy.

"We're holding up. It is hard to process losing your best friend and brother all in the same day," Mark Valentine said.

Phil tested positive for COVID-19 in mid-July. For the first few days, Phil felt fine but later became hospitalized. During the hospital stay, doctors placed him on a ventilator.

He died Saturday. Valentine said one of his last conversations with his brother was about his life.

"Phil said, 'I lived a life of ten men.' He said he'd done everything you could have imagined," Valentine said.

Valentine was a skeptic of the vaccine, but his brother Mark told News4 he regretted not getting the shot after his hospitalization.

"Do you wish he would have followed more of the science and encouraged his listeners?" said News4's Danielle Jackson.

"Well, the problem is Danielle, is the science is all over the place, you know that's what I was just saying — now that we have more imperial evidence, now that we have enough vaccines and we have the resurgence of COVID — we can measure what's going on in the emergency room and the COVID facilities around the country. Then you can get more of a definitive, clearly focused number for people to look at," Mark Valentine said.

Mark even decided to get the vaccine after his brother's prognosis, and so did many of his listeners.

"This is a frontline nurse who told me, 'I went and got the vaccine solely because of what happened here," Valentine said.

Valentine said he is hoping this terrible situation will turn into a positive for thousands of others.

"This isn't something that usually happens, but I will say this Phil got it wrong. He just did. And if we had to do it over again, we wouldn't be in this situation, so you know everybody can't be right all the time," said Valentine.

Valentine said he wants his brother's passing to be the reason others get vaccinated. He doesn't want any other families to feel this pain.

The family is planning Phil's private burial ceremony some time this weekend.

Phil leaves behind a wife and three sons.

Agreed!!

But, the FDA, is what we've all been paying attention to.
They are the ones who approved this Vaccination.
And [AFTER] approving the Pfizer 12 and Under Vax, they turn around and now WARN against it.

That is the [kind of NEWS] we should be paying ATTENTION to!!

I dont believe getting the vaccination is a lack of faith. We were taught to trust our doctors and what they say. I just dont believe in it because of so much misinformation I've seen about the vaccination, so it makes people like me a bit skeptical.
Which is why people spread misinformation

Don't be stupid! We've been through this already in this thread.

The vaccine is NOT the mark of the beast. It is not even in the right place. (Hand or forehead!) a burn again Christian dies not Lise their salvation. After 41 years of following Christ, reading the Bible more than 55 times through, I know who my Redeemer is! I had my vaxes in my left upper arm. Not my right hand.

A choice for a medical procedure, either to have a vax or not, is not a salvic issue!

How does the Bible say we are saved? Whether we have a vaccine or not? Never!

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." Roman's 10:9-10

Such a poor understanding of salvation you demonstrate by pulling this image out of the context of Revelation and the rest of the Bible, and start committing eisegesis. Worst hermeneutics I have seen.

You better get your heart right with God and confess your sin of wrong use of the Bible to condemn a fellow Christian.
Eh, kinda.

No doubt this is a stepping stone issue in the direction the paranoids are trying to take it. It is conditioning people to accept what is pushed on them without question.

Like you said, the salvic issue has to do with worship, which the vax does not incorporate. Thus the vax itself is not the mark.

But again, it is a stepping stone. Once it has helped make people more willing to accept a forced 'thing', the next one may/will include the worship element.

It's a conundrum. The virus is real and we have to do what we can to protect each other from it. Th mask and the vax, while not foolproof, are what we have in the way of protection.

But make no mistake, they are also part of the process of wearing down people's resistance. And once resistance is minimized, it's just one more step to an issue that includes false worship.

Participate, but be aware that this is one more step towards something you eventually won't want to participate in.

It took about 2 weeks for her to recover fully. She is in her 60's & she treated herself with Ivermectin.
The son & daughter recovered in 3-4 days with no treatment. None of them have been vaccinated.
So it could be inferred that the ivermectin actually prolonged the illness.

I have to wonder at the sanity of some conspiracy theorists. Who is committed to eliminating 7 billion people?

All 7 billion people will die eventually.
Everyone who received a miracle healing went on to die of something else. Would the deniers then also say the Holy Spirit's 'medicine' is a failure?

What on earth do you mean? I'm fairly sure that I'd know if I was dead.
The gist is that you WILL eventually die, and since you had the jab it will be the vax's fault.

I know a couple who just recently found out they have covid and they immediately went to the hospital to receive an anti-body infusion. They described it as a 1 hour IV injection. Is this something new? Is it something that anyone who has covid can do? I wonder how well that would be covered under health insurance.
Like everything else surrounding this issue, it is an experimental treatment and as such is not covered under insurance.
