Are you in a place where following the social norms, fighting against the cultural stigma, and a broken system filled with others who are blind only trying to lead the blind? Following the world's standard of living will only lead to collapse. We live in a universe that, by design, we see the evidence of metaphysical laws at play. For example, gravity, we know what is when we see it, but it is still much a mystery as we only see the effects of it. Same with morality, good and evil. We know what evil is because we have an indwelling understanding of what is good. We know there is much in this world that isn't right, and that goes back to the fall of creation, the temptation of evil. We lived in innocence, much like a child knows only innocence until the age of knowledge. The knowing of good but choosing to do the opposite. We all, if we live long enough, experience our own fall out of innocence. Eagerly desperately always trying to fix what we inwardly know is wrong. We try but fail, we try again and fail, we try for the 1000th time and fail only to receive ourselves as a failure.

This is where the forces of evil want to keep you. They want to destroy you, and by your decay, it helps their goal to destroy what is good. You feel you have to climb this mountain, endure this pain, bleed for your pain but in truth, that has already been done in Jesus Christ who was forced to carry his cross atop His shredded and whipped back up the hill to the place of the skull. He being God in the flesh, sacrificed Himself for defeating sin (evil) and the sting of death. As he was on the cross struggling to breathe, weak from the loss of blood, and ready to give into death. He speaks and says, “ it is finished!”

What is finished? The legalistic system that tells you, you must be more than you are. When in truth, Jesus has already climbed that mountain for you.

I wrote a poem about this because I have been where you are. I tried and tried to climb out of the system of imagined failure. I would climb the hill only to be muddy with the sweat, tears, and blood of my efforts to reach the top. I would only slide down repeatedly until I felt no longer recognizable, being covered in the mud, sweat, tears, and blood.

It was only when I looked up and saw the hand of my Savior, pure, clean, clothes white as snow, come down the hill and offer His hand to bring me to the top. Instantly I was healed and every blemish made clean. The hill was never ours to climb, but sadly so many have tried only to die at the bottom of the valley called despair, sorrow, or hopelessness.

Therefore there is now no condemnation in Christ Jesus. A little sentence with a powerful chain-breaking truth. He asks you to come as you are in your imperfection.

That freedom and peace is always all-consuming and gave me the weapons to fight anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and when the voice inside my mind telling me I am a failure, good for nothing, or damaged man, I can respond in that I am loved for who I am, and God never leaves my side. In fact, while we were still sinners, God predestined the way of salvation. The way back into innocence. God saw your life from beginning to end before your life ever began within time and still offers His hand in love to free you from such guilt, shame, pain, or despair. He, in the flesh of Jesus Christ, gave His life as fully human but yet fully God in a painful, horrible death knowing from beginning to end who you are and still open the door to wanting a relationship with you.

There is no condemnation meaning no matter your imperfections; God has paid for the sins of the past, present, and future. We are free to live in His grace, love, forgiveness, and be guided in the teachings that prosper the peace and joy that I have as well millions of others in a world that is polluted with evil and destruction.

Do not listen to the voice of destruction but instead begin to hear the voice of truth, the voice of life, the voice of wisdom.
