This is a hate crime. It needs to be prosecuted appropriately.

Everyone involved needs to have the book thrown against them. They have tried to stir up hate throughout the country with their lies. Anyone impacted by this would then have a strong basis to sue these mainstream propagandists who pushed this lie.

Throw the book at them.

16 There are six things the Lord hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies

and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

It was a hate crime. Hate against MAGA, against rural white Americans, against blue collar conservative Christians. The media pushed this with a lying tongue which includes Michelle Obama trying to keep him from being prosecuted. it was a wicked scheme. It involved a false witness, lies, and trying to divide the community.

This is just my opinion, not saying you're wrong anything because I don't know.

The way I see it is he didn't actually commit a hate crime. Lying and accusing someone of an alleged crime isn't actually a crime and the government can't regulate who people hate.

If he had actually accused specific individuals of doing something then maybe we'd have something such as slander and defamation motivated by hate, but he didn't name anyone. And political affiliation isn't a protected class.

I think they're getting him for lying under oath, but I'm not sure I don't really follow the news.

We never really know until this goes to trial, you subpoena phone records and emails and it may turn out it was much more sinister. Personally I believe he was connected to a much bigger conspiracy, it is hard to believe the whole media grabs this like they did without the slightest discernment and Michelle Obama gets involved with the AG unless this went far beyond some pathetic actor trying to further his career.

One thing really stands out in this case

Chicago.

When someone says "MAGA country" and couple of rednecks with a noose going around intimidating poor homosexual black men does Chicago pop to your mind? Chicago is not MAGA country, it is Obama country. If this had happened in Alabama or Mississippi it would be much easier to believe, especially if it were a small town in one of these states. But 2am in Chicago, that sounds like Crips country, or Bloods country.

Why if you were doing this would you do it in Chicago unless you wanted to make sure you could control the narrative and the investigation? Guess who was activated to control that investigation, Michelle Obama.

Second of all, by the time Michelle Obama got involved he was already fully exposed and disgraced as a fraud. That is a very weird time for someone as high up as the previous First Lady of the US to get involved. This reminds me of Watergate where Nixon takes the fall for some 2nd rate keystone cops episode.

Now that the prosecution has rested we can say that it was definitely, unequivocally a hate crime. However, it depends on him being found guilty in this trial. If he is the two Nigerians can now sue him for trying to portray them as committing a racist attack on him.

The defense clearly accused those two individuals of committing a hate crime on him. Not only would that be slander but also there would have been very great potential harm as the both could have been convicted of a felony and gone to prison for years.

What needs to happen is find Jussie guilty, throw the book at him, and then as a parting shot have all of his worldly possessions given to the two Nigerians.

The funny thing is I don't think anyone in prison is going to be too fond of him.
