Oyster, I'm afraid we are dealing with perfect perfection in the wisdom of scripture that can't be questioned.

There is no possibility at all that they could be mistaken, they have reached perfect knowledge in this doctrine and nothing can change that. They are no longer human, they are God's chosen perfection in the flesh!

it says in Matthew 24" one taken the other left, therefore watch and be ready for you know not when the son of man cometh" so yes ,it is without any doubt, and vividly portrayed as the pre-trib rapture
See Zechariah 14 - it mirrors this verse— to be taken is a bad thing—- not a good thing…

There is a way to help a 'perfectionist' see their error - shown them the error with clear irrefutable evidence.

EXAMPLE: 2 Peter 1:16-21

For we did not follow cleverly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to Him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” And we ourselves heard this voice from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

We also have the word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

I am only human, the possibility of error is always present!

Who am I to question you, David? You are perfect in all knowledge and scripture.

The possibility of error does not exist with you! You've as much as said it!

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
We have agreed that we all need to humbly come to the Cross to be washed in the blood of the Lamb. Having done this...

Matthew
22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
22:39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

There are many things i would not speak on of any certainty as i would be in error if i did.

We are only covering the subject of His Second Coming - NOT the entire Scripture.
BUT, we must cover the entirety of Scripture in this One Subject - His Second Coming/Resurrection/Gathering

You mentioned 'gaps', which can occur if we reject or ignore or are uninformed of Scripture that fills in the gaps = AGREE

NO, I don't agree! If there were undeniable truth either way we wouldn't be arguing this subject.

But some of us seem to think there is undeniable proof, and keep announcing they have it!

Here are your undeniable Proof Texts, and there are more, but you can start here.

Matthew chapter 24 is undeniable Proof Text

1 John 2 :18-19 agrees and is undeniable Proof Text

Daniel ch7 agrees and is undeniable Proof Text

1 Thess & 2 Thess ch2 agrees and is undeniable Proof Text

James chapter 5 agrees and is undeniable Proof Text

LOL, our definition of "proof" is worlds apart!

As long as Rev. 3:10 is in scripture the post-trib theory is under scrutiny.

As long as the Church is not mentioned one single time during the Great Tribulation, that theory is under scrutiny.

As long as those martyred during the Great Tribulation are not said to be Church saints going the tribulation, that theory is under scrutiny.

As long as Paul said that those at the resurrection are "caught away" that theory is under scrutiny.

Etc, ect, etc!

Your reasoning is not conducive to walking with the Lord in agreement.

All four sentences have error in them according to "it is written".

This is why i will always bring up the only platform that God accepts and commands whereby His Saints will find understanding -
Deut 4:1-2 , Prov 30:18-19 , Rev 22:18-19

There you go, trying to foggy-up the mirror again. Things are really quite clear until someone goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of their way to try and fog things. Go ahead then. I'm not a spanker like momma @Laura798 .
Actually im not a spanker either…i try to take a softer gentler approach… and if that doesn’t work i say “Just stop it!”;)

Is my "reasoning" not conductive to walking with the Lord, or not conductive to agreeing to what David has demanded I believe?

Gods word is undeniable, but it depends on the correct interpretation— someone is incorrect.:geek:
