Is it wrong to show up the blemish of someone?

Regrettably, many religion institutions are used to covering the flaws of their leaders. They excuse themselves using (Gen 9:21-27). Nonetheless, see what the Creator enjoined Amos to prophesy:

• Amo 3:9 -> “Proclaim to the strongholds in Ashdod and to the strongholds in the land of Egypt, and say, “Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria, and see the great tumults within her, and the oppressed in her midst.””.

The defects can’t be hidden. On the contrary: thys ought to be put in evidence so that the transgressor can repent, convert and be saved. See, for instance, what Paul said:

• 1Co 4:5 -> “Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.”.
• 1Co 14:25 -> “the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you.”.
• Mat 10:26 -> “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.”.

The Creator doesn’t cover the faults of nobody:

• Nah 3:5 -> “Behold, I am against you, declares the LORD of hosts, and will lift up your skirts over your face; and I will make nations look at your nakedness and kingdoms at your shame.”.
• Eze 16:37 -> “therefore, behold, I will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved and all those you hated. I will gather them against you from every side and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.”.

After all, Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6) and in Him there is no darkness (1John 1:5), nor shadow (James 1:17).

Besides, the rod of the correction can put the foolishness at bay (Prov 22:15) and save the person of the hell (Prov 23:14).

So, enjoy your day correcting the evildoer (recall that this is a commandment – Ez 3:28-21; 33:7-9) and, thus, giving to the Holy Spirit occasion so that they can be disentangled of the snares of Ha-Satan and be saved (2Tim 2:25,26):

• Lam 2:14 -> “Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading.”.
• Jer 23:22 -> “But if they had stood in my council, then they would have proclaimed my words to my people, and they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their deeds.”.
