I think people should see leaves year round...they provide oxygen!

If you live in temperate climate where everything is bare in winter I cant think how depressing that must be after a while (which is why a 'White Christmas' needs decorating with trees and boughs of holly...pine needles are better than nothing) and why people everywhere love the christmas season so much cos it kind of forces you to be cheerful and jolly.

Regarding Jesus...he slept on the mount of Olives. That was his favourite tree. It has leaves year round..its evergreen.

I have one outside my window, it was decorated with sweet peas in spring but I have since taken them down and now daisies are growing around it. There is also a grapevine. I covered it with some cloth otherwise the birds will eat all the grapes.

Is kind of funny how people take for granted trees. I knew a lot of old people actually hated trees. They didnt want to see them and would ask the gardeners to cut them down. So what, they could look at the traffic outside their windows instead?
