I lived in Florida for years and loved to shop at Publix. I particularly enjoyed the BOGO's. Miss that place. There are not too many Publix in Tennessee where I now reside. The closest on is about 1 1/2 hours away. In Florida there are Publix everywhere.
Yeah I lived in Lakeland for 3 years when I went to school. I was surprised at how many Publix there were until I figured out that is where Publix started or was headquartered. They have this section south of town where there are all these gates and it's massive. There's also this giant birthday cake for some reason.

Everything was usually cheaper at Winn Dixie or Walmart but it certainly was convenient if I only wanted to drive 5 minutes. Also, they were the only store that had a certain type of cookie that I enjoyed so they got at least that from me :p

I don't recall BOGOs but I'll admit I didn't give Publix much of a shot due to a few other reasons.

I know about cards

I have my own business and I still like cash too
Not only that but try going out on the street to buy cars with a credit card.
Or to a garage sale or flea market.

Made our quarterly trip to WalMart last week to buy a few things we can not buy locally.
36 miles each way.
After finding what we needed, went to the front to find only one cashier, so went to the self checkout registers.
After we scanned everything and tried to pay , it would not accept our cash.
When I asked for help, I was told the self checkout registers only took credit or debit cards. If I wanted to pay cash I would have to go the one cashier and get in line with the other 30 people lined up there.
Thankfully, my wife was able to get me to the door before I totally lost it.
Left over $300 worth of product scanned and sacked on the register.

Has anyone else had to deal with people who do not take cash.
If I can not pay cash, I will not shop with them.
 You mean your still using cash ? Whats the world coming to ?

I think we all know what the world's coming to...under the watchful eye of our King!
The Lord is our light and salvation...of whom shall we be afraid?
