I consider if someone DOESNT like any animals, they probably dont like people either or dont know how to look after anybody.
You can tell a person's heart if they treat their animals poorly. In the Bible, animals were commanded to be given the sabbath day off just as people were.

A pale substitute for a human being that loves you and you can talk to, eat with, sleep with, parents with, laugh with etc. etc. is what I meant. The quotes were meant as an excuse.

but it isn't "exactly" supposed to be a "filler" or maybe it is? Idk, either way it's something to enjoy.


Yes I agree that good stewardship is a must and it can illuminate deficiencies in these areas with pet care OR give you encouragement that you have your ducks in a row so to speak.

The process of owning a pet is more like adoption, not marriage. Though an older grown animal might choose to live with you.

I dont really have a hack for animals/pets

They choose me not the other way round...I think if you provide the right environment and a safe home they'll come to you. Though if you serious about it, and think you can do more, go to the animal shelter or SPCA and give those animals a good home.

Us humans might not be able to save ourselves (we look to our Lord and Saviour for that) but we CAN be the saviours of animals (and plants) as God had commanded us to look after them.

Make use of it instead of your data which you pay for
Free wifi spots are usually around banks, libraries, and mcdonalds.

If doing online ordering, to be safe and you dont want to use a credit or debit card, do internet banking or use a prezzy card.
Or I would set a limit on a debit card so that if for any reason it goes missing you wont get overdrawn. Credit cards I wouldnt recommend unless you are very savvy with money and religiously pay them off each month...

never save your passwords on shared computers.

For ultimate safe online business, keep a debit card connected to a bank checking account. Keep only as much in the account as you are about to spend. Also, if your bank has "bounce protection," cancel it.

Even if somebody gets your card data, he can't steal what is not there to steal.

Same thing with computers - desktops, laptops, tablets or phones. Keep all your important stuff on a flash drive or three. (Flash drives are dirt cheap these days. There is no excuse to not back up your data.)

If you get any kind of malware, you can laugh at it. Why would you care if somebody locked your computer down and demanded a ransom to unlock it? All your data is safe in offline storage... The flash drives.

Ultimate security is not even having to care about it.

More single hacks...
instead of calling for help consider going online and if its available do a live chat, it can save time and you wont be put on hold, plus if youve got order numbers etc its easier for the person to help you when its written down, dont have to worry about peoples accents or mispronouncing words..or interrupting peoples work.

Just be real clear what you need help with.
Though it does depend on the company and what time you call if you reaching a helpdesk or call centre if you want to do it by voice. Also be aware if you are calling your voice may be recorded so always ALWAYS be polite and respectful!

Otherwise you can send an email though it may be buried under all the emails they get in a day so responses are slower.

When I was single living up in snow country I always carried a small snow shovel with some chicken wire in the trunk so if I got stuck I would dig snow away from back tires lay down the chicken wire in front of the back tires and I never got stuck. Saved a bunch of money having to call for help to get out of those sticky situations.

Oh, here's a good couple of life hacks.

Keep a magnetic key box on the underside of your car with a spare set of car and house keys. If you're single living in a state far from friends or family, this will come in handy. Saved my bacon more than once!

Get a battery starter like NOCO's and keep it in your car. A good life hack for anyone, but especially for the single person who may not know anyone to call for help or a ride if their battery dies.

My mother told me to always keep a copy of my car key in my wallet.

Of course she told me this right after I had to call a locksmith... But it saved me a lot more calls to locksmiths.

Hindsight is 20/20, lol!

The nice thing about the keybox is that even if you get mugged somewhere, beaten, and stripped naked, you can still drive your car home and get in your house. I usually keep a set of clothes and some shoes in my car too.

This being mugged and etcetera happens often?

You tube. It has to be one of the better hacks. Have lost count of how many times I wanted to DIY something I had no knowledge of. Yet someone has made a video step by step with subject matter expertise for something I want to fix, build, repair, make, cook, etc, and etc. I would have to say you tube is a great tutorial with a how to do video from the seldom to the very common, is over all a good hack for what may interest a individual.

What I noticed is singles that live on their own then complain about having to keep house, repair and maintain it...but on the other hand they dont want to live with other people i.e flatting/ boarding situation or roomate that could help out.

My thing would be if you do decide its better living on your own then learn how to do all that sort of stuff (DIY) or be prepared to pay good money to someone who does. Adult Evening classes are a good place to learn all that.

If you are of the very few who can actually own a place somewhere do your due diligence (homework) and settle somewhere thats going to last a long time, not require more maintainence that you can handle, and not somewhere thats prone to flooding or damp.

but use the cloud and google docs instead of microsoft...use open source software or things that are in creative commons or public domain and you wont be hit with copyright infringements and hassle of updating all the time. Also its free.

Libraries are free too. Plus you can borrow audiobooks and ebooks free if you are a library member.

I'd borrow from the library rather than order books through amazon conglomerate. If your library doesnt have it, suggest they purchase it. The librarians do look to buy what people want to read.
