The Ark protected and saved Noah and his family. That is a Messianic type of concept. Christ also saves us. It also related to the Ark of the covenant.
How is it related to the ark of the covenant? because of the mercy seat?

I believe that bigfoots (bigfeet?) exist as well. I've come across too many believable accounts and video evidence. :)

Not sure what you mean by the "Holy Grail situation." Do you mean the book "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" which put out the idea that Jesus had children and left a bloodline? I'm certain that didn't happen.
lol I'm not sure of the spelling but yea. And I have not read that book but I do have another book by the same author and its an interesting read, but yes an uncorrupted bloodline.

Yes, I read it and Dan Brown's fiction books based on it. (The Da Vinci Code, etc.) These are attempts by unbelievers to bring Christ down to a human level or even suggest that He sinned by having premarital sex.

Jesus Christ was not wed, nor did He have children. Look at the account of Christ on the cross. He entrusted care of his mother, whom he was responsible for, to one of his disciples. He DID NOT entrust the care of a wife or children to any disciples.

Then there is the Biblical principle that the married person must care for the needs of their spouse, while the unmarried is free to please God solely. Does Christ seem like a man who would detract from the service of God by taking extra responsibilities upon Himself which would detract from His Earthly ministry? Especially in light of the FACT that He KNEW He was going to die on the Cross? That would have been incredibly irresponsible at the very least.

Paul was celibate for the sake of the Gospel. Christ is greater than Paul and I find it inconsistent to suggest that He would have done less for the kingdom of God than Paul did.

The idea that there could be sinless humans aside from Christ running around would also make the Bible and God a liar.

Well I'm not sure its referring to sinless. I think it's referring to corrupted like what you were saying before intermingling of demon blood etc.

It's been 15 years since I read these books, but I'm pretty sure that was the actual premise of "Holy Blood, Holy Grail."

At any rate, the adherents of "Nephilim Theory" have a lot to prove:

-That whatever version of the Book of Enoch they are using is real and trustworthy
-That angelic beings can have offspring with physical ones when the Bible suggests otherwise
-That angelic beings actually DID have offspring with humans

And then there's another question of mine: If demons can have offspring with people, why not with animals and why aren't there any demon beasts? Or if there are, how do we know there are?

It's just a whole mess of confusion and superstition. I could certainly be wrong, of course, but all the evidence says otherwise.

Well doesn't the bible say that the Son's of God came into women etc so isn't that already proven by scripture? And also doesn't the Bible say in Revelation that there will be a demonic army unleashed in the end time?

Maybe in a way but it's an Ark. That's how it correlates. One Ark was a boat, one is a container but both are Arks.

H727
אָרֹן אָרוֹן
'ârôn 'ârôn
aw-rone', aw-rone'
From H717 (in the sense of gathering); a box: - ark, chest, coffin.
Total KJV occurrences: 202

To the second part of that, yes. And I'm familiar with the passage in Genesis about the first part of your post:

Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

I've got to say you've made me think about this a bit. My understanding was always that this passage was just talking about the propagation of humanity... but since verse 1 says that already it seems kind of redundant in verse 2.

And then, looking at the phrase "sons of God" in the Old Testament, it seems that with the exception of ONE case, "sons of god" always refers to angelic beings.

Hosea has the one exception:

Hos_1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

Not sure my mind is changed, based on the points in my previous posts, but it is something to think about.

Now I'm confused as to what you're trying to say. Why does it say men of renown like if that was something good?

Renown just means "fame." Medal of honor winners can be "men of renown." It would be more conclusive if it were something like "men of infamy" which has a definite negative connotation. But usually renown actually means positive achievements.

And why is the Bible praising these men of fallen angels?

That's my point. A conventional understanding of the passage is simply that in the early days of humanity, men took wives and beget mighty children who did great deeds and earned great fame.

Those who hold to this view, like myself, would say that this was possible because humanity was not carrying as many defects and genetic mutations (genetic load) as we are today. The species was stronger and closer to the perfection Man had at the moment of Creation.

It's not praise. Those giants are famous (fame). Infamy is actually a great translation choice because they are famous for their brutality and evil.
