The word `saints` applies to those in Israel, (OT) and believers in the Body of Christ AND to those who turn to God in the trib. and beyond.

Prophecy that Christian saints would be killed during the Great Tribulation:

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Satan's wrath and starting the Great Tribulation which is a war against Christians/the church:

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath , because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed , which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

This war is the great tribulation and it is specifically a war against the remnant of the woman's seed AND those who have the testimony of Jesus Christ. That's the church!

The Christian saints killed during Satan's wrathful Great Tribulation are resurrected:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God , and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years .

They were killed in the great tribulation. They weren't raptured to heaven before the great tribulation!

The Christian saints killed during Satan's wrathful Great Tribulation:

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you : and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

See? The church, the followers of Christ will NOT be raptured to heaven before all this happens. The church is right there and some will be killed for their faith in Christ. DON'T LET PRE-TRIBBERS TELL YOU THE OPPOSITE!

Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

See again? Those of the church that endure unto the end of the Great Tribulation shall be saved!

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Once again, the church that sees the AoD will physically flee to the mountains for those who live in that area. None of them are raptured before the AoD arrives! No Pre-trib rapture at all.

Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The elect is the church and it's right there on Earth for the GT. The GT will be shortened so not all their flesh will perish.

Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

"You" is the church! People will tell you Christ has returned but DON'T BELIEVE IT! YOU will be there and see the Great Tribulation happen!

Anyone see a Pre-trib rapture in any of these scriptures?? No, because it is not a biblical doctrine. It is the doctrine of devils and demons because they don't want you to believe what Jesus is teaching here and what was shown to John in Revelation.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Don't listen to those that claim this is not the rapture. It is the rapture but instead of using rapture (or the Greek word for rapture:harpazo) the word used is gathering of the elect. That is another way to describe the rapture.

The thing is, 2Thes 2:6-7 is quite specific, stating that the Holy Spirit's restraint is removed.....not His entire presence, influence or work.

Wow.....believing that......then you must have placed a different meaning on ....what does scripture mean ...."because you..Philadelphia church...have a little faith...I shall keep you from the hour of temptation that shall come upon all the earth"...?...and related scriptures.
Further......".in the blink of an eye those dead in Christ shall rise up and be met in the air by those living in Christ and together they shall ascend"....? What does this relate too...and what does it mean?

Please example His actions after removal... of your thought? The HS is the restrainer of satan and releases that which God allows to happen to make His over all plan occur. Remember he is taken out of the way. Meaning ...removal. Where do you get the undestanding that He partially remains?

Like this one?

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

The fact that tribulation is mentioned for one of the other churches further disproves any idea that the church won't face tribulation. ie: this verse cancels out the other verse. The truth is that neither is talking about the rapture or the great tribulation.

So which is it? No tribulation or some? Pre-trib is inconsistent and misleading when they cite Rev 3:10 and not also Rev 2:10.

Tribulation...we all have that in life...but, not the Great tribulation. A big difference.

But the other church has not even a little faith. That's the difference. One does not beget the other in your meaning.

What you are concluding is this;...God's plan is for the followers of Christ on the earth at
the time of the GT will be required to be subjected to the whims of the AC...not accept the mark of the beast and be martyred.
Is that what you are saying?

That makes no common sense at all.

For you to establish that as a true meaning you must respond to the language mentioned that God would save them from the hour that shall come upon all the earth, etc.

Wanna do that?

It's what the bible says.

Sense has nothing to do with it. The bible says it shall happen.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

God did not say that anywhere in the bible.

That is out of context...lets put it back...those are folks living at the time of the rapture but not in Christ...they will go through the tribulation.

That doesn't come from the bible though. It's pure imagination. Go ahead, post scripture showing that.

Well lets use logic of scriptures...what happens to the people.... not in Christ .....at the time of the rapture?

How is Revelation 13:7 valid and talking about the church when Jesus said that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it?
Revelation 13:7 isn't talking about the "gates of hell prevailing against the church."

Matthew 16:18 "...the gates of hell shall not prevail against it..." is about the grave and/or the place of departed souls. In other words, Christians don't go to hell and even though they may die physically they will eventually have a resurrection. In that way, the gates of hell do not prevail against the church.

Revelation 13:7 is about the Beast waging war against saints, against the church in other words. "Fear not those who can kill the body..." or in this case behead the body.

The main thing you should be seeing here is that the church, the saints, are present in the great tribulation, many of whom will be martyred.

In order to make the great tribulation the wrath of God, you have to hold the position that God murders members of the bride of Christ. If I were you, I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole, but to each their own. You'll be accountable for whatever you want to do.

You missed something very simple; the Bride of Christ will be raptured pretrib. But people who believe as you do will be left behind (because of no faith in His coming pretrib) to be overcome by the Beast.

Why not rather CHANGE your faith and believe Luke 21:36? Believe in being found worthy to escape the beheading.

Lam 2:3
"....He hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy..."

This is what you're essentially dealing with in 2Thes 2....
No. The Holy Spirit that is working through the church is taken out of the way when the church is raptured. Suddenly the Holy Spirit has no (or few) believers left through whom He can work.

It seems you know very little about the Chronology of Revelation. Did you not notice that God will start the Day of His wrath (6th seal) before He starts the 70th week (7th seal) so that the ENTIRE WEEK will be in or during His wrath. That is why Satan's wrath and God's wrath are happening at the same time. God is not angry with His beheaded saints, He is angry with those who behead the saints.

Did you not notice in Revelation 12 (at the midpoint of the week) that only a remnant of those that love Jesus is left? Why is that? Because the pretrib rapture took out the main load before the week.
