Unanswered prayers

Hello I need to know why God has not answered the rest of my prayers yet which is stop the carbohydrates and other nutrients of foods and drinks which are fats and sugars from putting weight on me everyday at all times permanently right now, continue to protect all of us from serious harm and deaths everyday at all times permanently right now, heal my numb thumb and for my friend to be healed from locked in syndrome?

Why aren't you at the gym, working off those carbohydrates, fats and sugars?

Seriously, though- sometimes you can't pray things away, especially if the Lord has given us a handicap, or an injury for a purpose of his. Maybe he wants someone else to pray for you, or maybe he wants something else- who can know? But I'm sure someone on here will see this and pray for you.

Well, one idea would be this: If you have received the Circumcision of Christ, then the Lord's Grace is sufficient for you, thus . . . we must Endure. Endurance is a Holy Word, as it is granted.

2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NLT - "Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me."

Philippians 1:29 NLT - "For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him."

If you consider yourself His Slave, then perhaps this is why these things are happening. But if you're not considering yourself a Slave, then perhaps the reason is below:

John 9:31 NIV - "We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will."

This is only my OPINION, so take it as that...

You have free will to eat whatever you want, but that doesn't mean everything you eat is healthy and good for you, so part of our gift of the Spirit is self control. We have the free will to use that self control or not, but not using it, will usually harm us in some way (and I say this as a big girl myself) God also gave us other tools to stay healthy, such as two feet to walk or run, arms to lift and stretch and a body that can do physical labor or exercise.... See? God already answered your prayer before you even prayed, by giving your self control and strength to work it out.

If you pray for something, such as patience, will God simply grant you patience, or is He more likely to place you into situations to exhibit your new gift of Patience, to glorify His name? He won't force you to use your gifts, but when we do use the gifts/fruit of the spirit that God gave us, our lives begin to change in AMAZING ways!! (Galations 5)

As far as the other prayers, especially with your numbness, instead of simply asking God to change/heal you, perhaps the better prayer is to ask God to use you as you are, so when you are healed, you will have empathy for others in your current shoes. I can't say for sure, because I am not God.

One more thing to consider; God's timing isn't our timing, and His view of things isn't our view of things, so just because God hasn't moved in the way YOU think He should be moving, doesn't mean He isn't moving or isn't moving in the right direction. It just means you can't see the whole picture yet. Isaiah 40:31 says they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength... The word "wait" has multiple meanings. It can mean "to be patient", like waiting on a bus. it can also mean "to serve", like waiting tables in a restaurant. So while you're being patient and waiting for God to move on your behalf, be serving God and waiting on His needs as well.
Time passes faster when you're doing other things anyways.

Idk but I have a similar issue. I have endometriosis and I wish God would heal me. Right now I need another surgery for it, but I'm trying enzymes hoping it will work.

Maybe look into a holistic approach in addition to praying? Enzymes are interesting. We are born with all that we get and after 25 our bodies ration them to last. This means we get less of the enzymes we need. Maybe you are deficient in an enzyme? I have a friend who reversed her allergy to red meat taking enzymes. So strange

Since you don't feel your question has been answered "Properly", then you must have a specific answer in mind. What words should we have used to you?

We gave good answers, perhaps it was not a good question.
God is not a Burger King, or a Santa we just get things from.
We seek FIRST His kingdom, stay is relationship with Him all the time, the more we do so, the easier it gets. Recall how Jesus said , "I only do what I see the Father do, I only say what I hear the Father say" ?
He modeled how we are each to live.

in some reference to a said prayer.

He probably did not hear that at all. You need to be a bit more reverent to our God almighty. Plus, we need to pray in Jesus name and give thanks.

The way you pray just sounds like you giving orders.
