Going to heaven isnt dependent on watching religious stuff its more like if youre being saved by Jesus your focus isnt going to be on whats on tv or the radio all the time (mostly advertising anyway)
also, you dont need to watch the news everyday either. Its just some people are junkies and think they need to watch and listen all the time. When the only daily requirement is prayer for bread....
bread being, what you need to sustain yourself from day to day. Jesus said his body is bread and his blood is wine. whenever eat and drink think of Him.
Anyway when you are a believer and want to please God He'll convict your heart if you choose to watch anything that displeases Him. I mean obviously if its violent, got swearing, adult content and drug use and glorifies all this, its not going to be good for you and possibly disturbing. When there are other LOVELY things you could be seeing, or be inspired by.
