Anyone have discreet ways to spread the gospel at the workplace?- or anywhere for that matter---It is what believers are supposed to do but I'm at a loss on how to do this??? It's my job, so don't want to get into trouble for speaking out about the Lord.

Your motive is the most important part. Keep in mind that you are not proselytizing to increase the number of people on "our side" or racking up brownie points that will get you into heaven. You have something that can help them, and you want to share it because they need it.

Also keep in mind that most people will not want it as long as they are happy with their current lifestyles. A player doesn't want to give up playing, and trying to tell him why he should won't do any good. Most people will not be ready to listen until they are fed up with their current lifestyles and realize they need something better.

Above all stay prayed up and listening to God. He knows a lot better than you when somebody is fed up and looking for a change.

My thinking on this has done a complete 180% from what I used to think. People will notice if you're different. All the talk in the world doesn't amount to a hill of beans if you aren't walking the walk. I encounter people all the time who talk about God this and God that; then the next thing you know they're cussing someone out or smoking some weed.

I don't even bring up my beliefs unless someone else brings it up. I really go out of my way to not bring it up. If He has something for me to say to someone He knows how to bring it about.

Pray for them, and make sure you don't put any stumbling blocks in their way.

There are numerous web sites you can find with a "serch" on the subject. However, the most effective way a Christian can "spread the Gospel" and serve as a witness to the world of Gods love is HOW THEY LIVE THEIR LIVES.

When people discover that someone professes to be a Christian, those people automatically place that person under a "living microscope." Their every word, act is scrutinized. The world seeks to see "sin" in professed Christians because, in that way, the world can justify their own sin filled lives.

What they do not understand is that a Christian may slip and sin, but the sin does not condemn them for they have been "freed from the chains of sin and death" by Gods saving Grace.......

How one lives their lives, and interacts with others will almost always open up avenues of communication that give the Christian a chance to speak of
God, Jesus, and Christianity.
