“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:4-6‬ ‭

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Great song! I so enjoyed learning new worship songs back in the '90s.

"Open the eyes of my heart Lord"
I still remember the first time I heard that song............
it was the first time I went to a youth group as a teen (we hadn't been to church in several years, but mom started insisting I went to Wed night youth group) ohhhhhhhh! sends chills (good kind) through me just thinking about that time.

my favorite version that is on youtube is of a 10 year old blind boy singing it.
Makes me sniffle/ touches me every time.
