the plan of Salvation is very simple as Jesus said, however much of why it is hard is due to the pharisaical spirit of many. Jesus said that too, in Matthew 23:4,15,25-26

when we can’t come into what Christ taught brother it’s because when we see it we recognize we need to repent and we aren’t perfect. So we avoid what he taught to avoid repentance

The only three things we need to know and understand for eternal salvation from scriptures.

Concentrate on the NT..New Covenant....with back-up exposure to the OT...Old Covenant.

You will be greatly assisted by the following rules of study;

1) Take the Bible literally ...wherever possible. If typical, figurative or symbolic language is used...look for a literal interpretation it intends to convey.
2) Look for scripture which interprets scripture.
3) Do not spiritualize the Bible. ( The flood did happen all were lost but Noah and family) (God does wish to save all souls but,...all but a few...will be cast into the lake of fire for eternal damnation).
4) Look out for ...new age religion teachings and consider them ...great deceptions...until validated by you from scripture. (if the interpretation was not prevalent before the 1960's' ......look at it as...new age religion teaching and...consider it with suspicions).
5) Be suspicious of book writers and consider the....... vast majority ......as money makers. )Chalsten Heston was a known atheist...He recorded the bible cassette tapes and made millions.

knowledge is what led man from God Wisdom says don't eat of that tree and trust the Lord. Meaning if knowledge leads one to disobedience to GOD it was never knowledge it was deception and foolishness.
