What kind of feeling does the presence of the Creator arise in our life?

• Amos 8:7,8 -> “The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob: “Surely I will never forget any of their deeds. Shall not the land tremble on this account, and everyone mourn who dwells in it, and all of it rise like the Nile, and be tossed about and sink again, like the Nile of Egypt?” ”.

In the life of Israel, in virtue of their bad deeds, the manifestation of the Creator would signify shudder, mourning, turmoil and, finally, sinking. It isn’t in vain that it is said in Proverbs:

• Pro 18:3 -> “When wickedness comes, contempt comes also, and with dishonor comes disgrace.”.

So, what kind of relationship are we cultivating in our life? I know that we have relatives and friends that don’t know Jesus and it is truth that Jesus ate with publicans and sinners (Mat 9:10,11). Nonetheless, recollect what the Creator said to Jeremiah:

• Jer 15:19 -> “Therefore thus says the LORD: “If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.”.

All of us need to live only what is good to the eyes of the Creator. If you are in the presence of sinners living Jesus’ word, certainly you will be used by the Holy Spirit to separate them to exclusive use of Him (1Cor 7:12-14; 2Cor 3:18). Otherwise, contempt and disgrace will desecrate you.

So, have a good day following righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2Tim 2:22) so that you won’t be abashed before Him in His coming (1John 2:28).
