The cost of the moon landing "hoax" is out of this world, sky high even. I recently came across a new explanation as to why. It seems that the astronauts agreed to star in the movie. However, they insisted that it had to be filmed on location.

The first set of astronauts died soon after insisting that. So the second set of astronauts were not as discriminating.

Age at death:
Neil Armstrong:82
Buzz Aldrin: 92 and still alive
Michael Collins: 90

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "soon".

I guess you never read about Gus Grissom. He and a couple others were the first round of astronauts. Gus was a critic of the slipshod way NASA was being run and he didn't think a Moon landing could be achieved with their level of technology or expertise.

On one occasion, he hung a lemon on the capsule in front of a TV camera, a silent commentary that he felt like it was a piece of garbage.

So NASA had him and his crew killed. They were burned alive in a "simulation." Prior to the test, the capsule door was changed so it opened inwards instead of outwards, and the decision was made to pressurize the capsule with a very high oxygen content air mix. If the door opens inwards, when the capsule is pressurized it is nearly impossible to open it from the inside. And certainly NASA knew that the high oxygen mix they were using could combust... unless you're going to tell me they were all ignorant idiots.

Grissom figured something wasn't right, so he said he and his crew would only go through with the test if the NASA administrator agreed to be in the capsule also. At first, the administrator agreed, but right before the test backed out saying that technicians could not patch an extra headset into the communication system in time for the test.

Grissom and his crew burned alive. To this day, many of their family members believe they were murdered for their outspoken criticism of NASA. And a spark plate was found behind one of the control panels that would generate a spark when the main power of the capsule was turned on.

It was basically a human barbecue. Or a human sacrifice to the god of the Freemasons, if you want to put it that way.

I know about Gus Grissom. Your conspiracy theory is ridiculous. How does it benefit NASA to prove Grissom was right?

High oxygen levels make other things more combustible, sure. The oxygen itself is not inherently dangerous, unlike methane or petrol fumes or other flammable gasses. There are high levels of oxygen in hyperbaric chambers, used to treat divers suffering from decompression sickness, and wound care where extra oxygen helps the healing process. In Australia, there are no requirements to ensure safety of patients in the chamber. I know this because of my employment before I retired. The risk is considered low. I sold safety items that eliminate spark risk. Sparks occur when switches are turned off, not turned on. It's known as break flash and due to the inductance inherent in copper wire.

Incompetence is far more common than outright malice. The DC10 had a design flaw that almost guaranteed it would crash, yet the FAA certified it. Likewise the more recent Boeing problems. Complacency, time pressure and cost cutting are a potent recipe for disaster. Ask the Russians with their attempt the emulate the Concord.

The problems with the capsule were made known by Grissom, they were there prior to the incident. There is no conspiracy.

Never said he wasn't. He went along with NASA's deception (mostly, except for a few slip ups in interviews) and they rewarded him highly for it.
You said that they were dead????
I'll leave you to your fantasy world. Enjoy. At least until the truth hits you.

Are you a cantankerous old man? Honest question.

@Moses_Young said that the first batch (Gus Grissom's crew, who burned alive) of astronots died, so the second batch (Buzz Aldrin being in this group) didn't argue with the Moon fakery.

I just clarified Moses' comment for you, and pointed out the FACT that Grissom's crew died. I never said anything about Aldrin (or anyone else) being dead.

I'll point out AGAIN that I was a glober just like everyone else until I started looking into things for myself. I know what I know and I'm not going back.

If I may make a suggestion, you seem to be very invested in defending the official narrative of the Moon landings and the heliocentric model. Why not spend that effort looking at the conflicting evidence instead?

Prove the globe, if you can. If you can't... well, welcome to the club of those of us who question authority and think for ourselves. Not that we're right all the time about everything, but at least we don't believe things on the authority of those who have proven themselves over and over to be untrustworthy.

Proof? You can't "prove" that you exist. However, the evidence suggests that you are not a cat wandering over the keyboard as mine does from time to time. I don't have to prove that the earth is a globe anymore than I need to prove that I exist. It is a globe. If someone told me that they doubted my existence, I would laugh at them. I know that I do and no amount of "evidence" could convince me otherwise. I don't need to examine alternative to the globe earth. It's proven beyond doubt.

You knew about Gus Grissom, but started talking about Armstrong when I mentioned the first set of astronauts were killed? Either you didn't know, or you were trying to obfuscate and divert from the subject. Neither makes your words appealing as a reliable source on the subject.

The sorry story of Gus and his fellow astronauts was recounted in the movie, "The Right Stuff". I misunderstood what you meant by the first set of astronauts. Alan Shepherd was the first American into space. He did not die. John Glenn was the first American to orbit the earth. He did not die until 2016. If you are going to make sweeping and accusatory statements, at least get your facts right.

I see the reason for the confusion. He was thinking of the Apollo astronots.

Dear Gideon,
You've been expending a great deal of energy trying to convince people you exist.
To be honest... it's starting to make me a little suspicious.
