Conversion therapy is about using shock therapy,ice baths ....ect. Which is barbaric.
This video shocks and doesn't shock me. They are lumping converting from a sinner to a child of God in the same cesspool. We have been told there would come a time when ...evil was called good,and good was called evil.
This I have been expressing in another thread and am called holier than thou,or wanting a church that believes EXACTLY as myself... I would LOVE a church that taught the whole bible correctly.....those days are gone bc evil abounds.
Conversion from sin to be FORGIVEN takes accepting the free gift of salvation that Jesus paid for. When the heart,mind and person is born again that means an about face from sins that you have been redeemed from,not continue on in the same

Hey brother I want you to know that is not what they are against. ECT is not the issue. President Obama was the one who started this. If you read the language of the bill in Canada, it is making it illegal to even suggest that anyone who is LGBTQ can be changed or ask if they are wanting to chnage. ECT is called just that "conversion Theory" is the new language used to stop Christianity and the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It will not work, however, the LGBTQ are supporting this for one reason. many people who were bound by homosexuality and transgender are speaking out and their Testimonies are very powerful of the abuses from Public school and local and state government leadership.
The hardest thing for a person who has been saved and set free from homosexuality is Coming out of the political tentacles of the movement. LGBTQ will attack those who were gay that have left and even pursue them. They bully them back into the movement like a cult. The LGBTQ are saying this will hurt those who are in the movement as some kind of psychological harm as a result of participating in these programs and ministries. They are getting saved. We must rally around those who were set free by the power of God or the LGBTQ movement will take them back with force.
Coming out as LGBTQ is one thing but having the freedom to leave is another.

These are STRONG sins,sexual immorality,they hold tight to the freshly desires.
For the cause of coming out of these immoral groups and being saved, I'll gladly stand or march with them!

when LBQT get into politics, and and many already ARE cos they actually have lots of money at their disposal, they'll just change laws to suit them. So its not surprising.
But even with legislation, its really not going to change peoples hearts on a spiritual level, so whether its for or aginst conversion, it is neither here nor there.
There are ways to reach out that dont make it obviously a LQBT targeted minsitry. I mean, as far as I know, the church doesnt do much a great job at getting adulterers (wether homosexual or hetero) to repent either, and even in same cases turns a blind eye and allows adulterers to marry each other with a church blessing. eek

Anytime the Prime Minister of Canada has less than a 50% approval rating, he has to resign?!?!
Can we can get some balance?!?!
Trudeau has a 40% approval rating, so technically his policies are approved by a Liberal minority.
