We the People need Prayer...

If you take politics out of the equation.... all you're left with is billions of people trying to do the best they can with what they're given, while being subjugated by a handful of arrogant politicians, and their armies, who dare to claim ownership of the world.

People are generally the same no matter where you go. People generally just want to live and let live. People just like to be entertained. People don't even have the collective authority to wage war... only governments do.

The Bible says people should pray for their leaders... So, perhaps we get the leaders we deserve...?

You give them a lot of grace. We were born into this system, that was created long ago, with rules in place that were implemented back when they still gave you a choice if you wanted to follow. Now, they expect you to just follow without question. Democracy died many years ago. I don't see that they are leaders, but rather handlers and/or overlords; the rest of us are either slaves or their enemies.

Absolutely. And that's before we get to the hysterical PC brigade trying to manipulate and control us.

JAPOV's point is valid. Why are we in this situation? I suggest that complacency and apathy have set in and Satan has taken advantage. We do not have because we did not ask.

Satan does use divide and conquer techniques regularly. However, prayer is impotent for a stiff-necked, hard-hearted, and rebellious "We the People." We the People are being delivered to Satan for punishment and the beatings will continue until humility is learned.

We should be looking to often quoted 2 Chronicles 7, key words being "humble themselves" if they want some extra blessings from God. In my experience God will not compromise on this an inch, ever, and will plead with people their whole lives to repent, but inevitably allow them to die in their stubborn rebellious pride, never having received the blessing of restoration and healing.

We the people can have this:
2 Chronicles 7:14
14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Or We the People can have this:
1 Corinthians 5:5
5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Forty-seven percent receiving free stuff off the backs of the other fifty-three percent has a lot to do with our demise.

Someone wrote a book about this. How human nature allows psychopaths to rise to the top more often than not.

Psychopaths are ruthless, cunning, and driven. Your average dude is dumb, complacent, and myopic in terms of foresight and perception of what's going on around him.

Normal people live their lives and mind their own business while the megalomaniacal psychopaths pursue their ambitions by whatever means necessary. In Western "representative" societies its even easier for them to rise to power since running for leadership positions is fairly open.

And once these scumbags get into power... well, history tells that part of things. Look at all the purges, mass murders, wars, etc. caused by a few psychopaths who got full of themselves.

In THIS country, We the People are supposed to purge our own psychopaths every so often. We've been lax for a few generations now.

Shut up, do as you're told, and the beatings will continue until morale improves!
