My name is Alexander, I am a cardiologist and a paramedic. A very important warning for those who wake up at night to go to the bathroom...
You must be careful and use the "One-and-a-Half-minute law" which is scientifically proven. By waking up suddenly for one's physiological needs normally, we often hear that someone "was well in good health and died suddenly during the night without reason. "
The most likely reason is that when that person woke up to go to the bathroom, he/she got up from bed in a hurry, but the brain needs greater blood flow, for having rested, causing a state of fainting and that is when the stroke happens. I have never been one to jump out of bed…. Jumping into bed is a different story….
I drink close to a gallon of water everyday…..something I got used to living in AZ and have always maintained that…so that is a good thing. But, I will try to coordinate it more as prescribed.

Over Sixty

Whenever I teach clinical medicine to students in the fourth year of medicine, I ask the following question:
What are the causes of mental confusion in the elderly?
Some offer: "Tumors in the head". I answer: No!
Others suggest: "Early symptoms of Alzheimer's". I answer No!
With each rejection of their answers, their responses dry up.
And they are even more open-mouthed when I list the three most common causes:
-uncontrolled diabetes
- urinary infection
- dehydration
It may sound like a joke, but it isn't. People over 60 generally stop feeling thirsty and consequently, stop drinking fluids.
When no one is around to remind them to drink fluids, they quickly dehydrate.
Dehydration is severe and affects the entire body It may cause abrupt mental confusion, a drop in blood pressure, increased heart palpitations, angina (chest pain), coma and even death.
*This habit of forgetting to drink fluids begins at age 60, when we have just over 50%of the water we should have in our bodies.
People over 60 have a lower water reserve.
This is part of the natural aging process. *
But there are more complications. Although they are dehydrated, they don't feel like drinking water, because their internal balance mechanisms don't work very well.
*Conclusion: *
People over 60 years old dehydrate easily, not only because they have a smaller water supply, but also, because they do not feel the lack of water in the body.
Although people over 60 may look healthy, the performance of reactions and chemical functions can damage their entire body.
So here are two alerts:
1) *Get into the habit of drinking liquids*. Liquids include water, juices, teas, coconut water, milk, soups, and water-rich fruits, such as watermelon, melon, peaches and pineapple, orange and tangerine also work.
*The important thing is that every two hours, you must drink some liquid. Remember this! *
2) Alert for family members: constantly offer fluids to people over age 60
At the same time, observe them.
If you realize that they are rejecting liquids and, from one day to the next, they are irritable, breathless or display a lack of attention,
these are almost certainly recurrent symptoms of dehydration

The statements about water are of much value.
Everyone should try to establish a routine to drink at least half their body weight (Pounds) in ounces of purified water. Quality supplements with meals.

If you weigh 200 pounds, then 100 ounces of water is reasonable. Drink more if in the heat or exertion.

If you are constipated, drink much more water. Add vegetables, fruits and magnesium.

I'm surprised that web MD admitted that.
The protocol for a higher than average Killer T Cells count is to assume it's because of an infection and give copious doses of antibiotics. Some patients die from the treatments. All will have a compromised immune function from the treatment. Keep this in mind when doing healthy things like boosting the immune function and going to a "professional" for tests. Death is a result of antibiotic and accompanying treatments more than admitted. This is also true of veterinary treatments of pets. Some people want to use the veterans medical "benefits" or the insurance they've been paying into. That can be a dangerous choice in many cases.

The worst thing I ever heard of from taking too much vitamin C is diarrhea if taken orally. One thing that web MD failed to mention is that the epithelial tissue of the mucosal membrane is a barrier to external pathogens. It acts to protect the body and is a physical part of the immune system. Guess what is required for the healthy repair and maintenance of the epithelium?
God made vitamin C and it does what He intended.
