I'm going to guess that they were. It could explain Adam's eating the fruit she offered him despite the fact that he had just listened to her conversation with the serpent. He was p-whipped. Or, maybe to be more fair, he was now totally intimate with this woman which would make him more vulnerable to her. If I were going to try to get him to fall, I'd wait until they did the deed.
I hear what you're saying. Another reason why I think that they may not have been intimate is that they only took notice of their genitals after the fall. It was then that they covered themselves, as if to then notice. But . . . as you and I agree, this is only speculation. Furthermore, it doesn't really matter. These things make no difference to the Gospel, the Story of God. :)

"I don't want to be right . . . I want to get it right."

Then you can be right :D
I really don't know. The Word of God is full of mysteries that I don't understand. Further, I would never demand to anyone that I am right. God doesn't require me for anything . . . I learned this in a Powerful way. Having felt the Raw, Almighty Power of God, I do my best to remain humble in terms of what is and is not the Truth. I'm just a human being that has gotten many things wrong in this world and life. God is the final Judge of Truth . . . not me.

YES THEY DO!!!

(Sorry, I'm being contrarian just to be a jerk :D You actually make a good point. I still think I can argue around that, but like you said, in the bigger scheme of things, it doesn't matter. It certainly doesn't impact the gospel message in any way I can discern.)

I was... not intending to be taken that seriously.

But, here's what I like about you . . . your attitude. :) And because you have a kind and gentle attitude, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'm willing to learn from anyone who doesn't force themselves upon me (and others). Those who make light of conversations . . . not interested. ;)

I'm Godzilla. You think I don't throw my weight around?!?

Heh... thank you for the kind words. I'm a New Yawka though, and sometimes that brashness comes out. It may materialize in the form or sarcasm, impatience or direct bluntness. But, in my old age I have learned to get reflective when communicating with someone to make sure I am not being needlessly cutting. This has taken me a while to learn, and I have still not mastered it.

Very impressive for you to admit and acknowledge. Seriously! I've been to New York twice and it is true . . . the people can be very harsh. However, a person would likely be devoured if they didn't adapt. I was once standing on the stairwell leading out of the subway and the space to exit was a little lean. A young lady was heading directly to me and in my kindness I said, "I'm sorry." She said, "Don't be sorry. Just get the F out of the way." LOLOL

Because...

Gen 2

18The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

19Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.

But for Adam f no suitable helper was found. 21So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs g and then closed up the place with flesh. 22Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib h he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones

and flesh of my flesh;

she shall be called ‘woman,’

for she was taken out of man.”

That's why.

Okay... that was BS, even for a NYer. She's looking to be slapped.

Oh, good grief...

In a perfect world a frog would have wings and wouldn't have to bump its butt all the time!

Sometimes "outside the box interruptions" are just intended to distract and annoy. So, you'll just have to excuse me for retreating here from BDF!

Haha . . . well, it was only two years after 9/11 and the area was still torn apart by the destruction. I had understanding, however, the dude who was basically looking for a fight because of the clothing I was wearing (and my size), it was a good thing I was with my wife and mother . . . we may have gotten into it. It was just weird . . . to be minding my own business and this dude just wanted to fight. Those were my former, younger, and less spiritual days. :)

So, you're saying "its just natural..."?
Natural and spiritual. It is God's plan for men to have fellowship with a wife.

But some Christian men have discovered a desire to serve God in fulltime ministry and study the word of God many hours a day and give themselves to preaching, teaching, evangelism, and to go here and there on the mission field burning with the flame of the Holy Spirit to win the lost with what few years they have left and they don't want to be distracted with a woman to take care of, or pay attention to romantically. These men don't hate women, but they are indifferent to the attraction they once had.

One does not have to have a relationship with a woman to have a happy peaceful life. If a man finds that they are feeling cursed because they are single, and they are on a hunt to find someone to make them happy, they should take a hard u turn and re-evaluate the situation.

First find something more noble to achieve than getting married. Set your goals higher. Go back to school become a lawyer. Get a huge pay increase. Then when you accomplish goals like that you may or may not still feel so anxious about finding a wife. You might still want one but you will have learned that it is not to make you feel complete, or happy. You will learn that you needed to feel better about yourself and that is what accomplishing certain goals did for you. Now that you feel better about your life you don't feel so anxious about finding a woman. You will take your time to make sure you find the right one that won't be an emotional drain. And you may discover that you are better off staying single.

This whole, "I need a wife" to be happy idea is a myth and a trap. Being able to have complete control over all of your time and how you spend it is PRECIOUS and PRICELESS. Don't mess that up!!!

Most men can't bear the thought of not being sexual. Thank God . . . old age helps to curb that beast-like problem.

Prima donnas! lol

In a plumber's defense however, sometimes it really is a "crappy" job...
Yes I'm a prima Donna....I earned every bit of that. I'm just not a drama queen.
But in my area I trained at least half of the decent electricians in this town. When the trainees would walk off and tell their buddies I was a grumpy old man they would tell them to quit being smart and go back and apologize. Because I had trained them all....
And that I got a lot more pleasant if someone brought me a biscuit in the morning.
