LOL, Did I say that? If you even bothered to read what I said, I said I'd like to see Mike Pence run.
Why would anyone want a traitor to run as president? Mike Pence was the only one who could have stopped the country from placing a totally incompetent criminal in the highest office through election fraud. He had the constitutional authority to do so. But he was a Judas all along. Pence should be ashamed to show his face anywhere.

You don't have to wonder. If you had the common sense to read my previous posts you'd know.
Not saying Trump is in one camp or the other as it relates to this passage. But in either event, YOU should probably read it!

Trump, very publicly, for all the world to see, lifted the Name of Jesus Christ. I can think of very few politicians, much less Presidents doing that.

Most just invite in imams for Ramadan:

Philippians 1:15-18
New International Version

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.(A) 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition,(B)not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.(C) 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

What do all those fantastic accomplishments mean in comparison with nasty tweets!?

Give me $10.00 gas.

Americans losing and retreating wars.

The world on the cusp of a nuclear exchange.

Massive censorship.

Forced inoculation.

Forced to accept men competing against women in sports.

Etc…. Rather than an insult against some person or group!!!

ANYTHING but that!
Your right ....I should never have tried to make a comparison .....thank God we don't have those mean tweets, so...Oblio doesn't have to hide under his bed.....

The system is so corrupt, I have serious doubts as to whether voting will have any effect on who is in office.

I agree I keep watching Texas from curiosity as to how they will go from a "stolen election" and back to convincing everyone that their vote really does count when it comes time to vote for Governor this year. I suppose the redistricting and new voting laws will suffice at convincing everyone that their votes count?

God told us a lot about the end of this age, putting parts of the puzzle into most every book in the Bible. He did not want us to be ignorant of that time. And He told us that even tho no one would know the day or time, we would know the season.

The things He speaks about – sexual immorality, atheism and polytheism, a wholesale turn of the people away from Him, love growing cold, right and wrong trading places in the world … every generation since Christ ascended has thought they were seeing it, and to a degree they are right. Think about the arrogant farmer, God told him his rapture was to be that night. God’s Word is eternal and reverberates thru time, that’s what’s behind history repeating itself. So what comes in the end is nothing new … it’s just on a larger scale than ever before.

There’s a large and well-known group of people who are being used to advance these conditions. They abandon personal responsibility and enable the lazy, they promote the indiscriminate killing of the unborn, they push government control over the population. There’s no doubting who has a hand in their activities, only the true enemy of God could be driving all these towards the same end at the same time.

Someone ought to step up and stop them!

Except you can’t.

Go back to what God says the world will end up like – God, Who wants us to not be ignorant, tells us repeatedly that in the world, they win. Let me say that again, God wants us to know that in the world, THEY WIN.

But someone should step up and stop them!

So there arises an opposition party, who claims God’s Name and opposes abortion and enablement and the loss of freedom. By god they’re stepping up to stop the godless horde. We ought to join them, and do all we can to …

… Prevent the world from ending up the way God says it will end up.

If that ain’t a fruitless effort I don’t know what is.

But here’s the insidious part … while group 2 has you expending your effort to fight a worldly battle against abortion enablement and the taking of freedom, they also have you turning a blind eye to the myriad of God’s Truths group 2 themselves are promoting.

Mammon worship.
Self-idolatry.
Lies, hypocrisy, and deceit.
The abandonment of the sick, poor, and truly needy.

See, abortion is worse than all of these, so we can turn a blind eye and let these slide while we engage in worldly work to stop that one thing (or those three).

Except no, we can’t. To play ignorant about the violation of His Truths, in the face of God’s effort to ensure that we are not, is just … well, I don’t know what word to put on it.

God does. He calls it “deceived”. And that too He warns us repeatedly about; people coming falsely in His Name to deceive even we elect, and draw us away from His Truths.

Not all of them. But by getting us to throw out the bathwater, satan is also getting us to throw out the baby.

So then we are to do nothing? Abso-God-lutely not. We are to direct our efforts to the right place. We cannot expect to change the course of the world. But we CAN change the course of individual lives. Instead pf preaching at the podium for our elected officials to do something about baby killing, why don’t we spend those 3 hours at a clinic, offering coffee and an ear (not a judgement but an ear) to those who are considering it. If we talk to three people and one turns back, then we’ve done more than all the time before agenda-driven pawns will ever accomplish. And you’ve accomplished God’s Truth, instead of wasting time in the matrix.

And all that time you spent storming the buildings? That’s time better spent storming your knees. Knowing that one engages the battle in the spiritual, and the other is straining at gnats.

The Jews thought their Messiah was going to be a political figure who’d save them from godless Romans.

Are you looking for a political figure to save you from godless liberals?

You’re looking in the wrong direction.

It’s what makes the op so insanely farcical.

The idea that the entire world can burn, as long as we don’t have a brash President that insults people.

We are NEVER going to get the perfect leader until Jesus Christ returns. So until then, we have to live with human beings leading us.

That’s what makes our constitution so incredibly valuable. Forcing those human leaders to abide by it.

There are wiser ways to handle things for example, if you go off of the prepared speech and make comments that can easily be taken out of context for example, his comments about good people being in the mix of the Nazi protest incident. It was taken out of context but it could of been avoided. There is a time for freely speaking in politics but other times you must be really careful how you phrase things and certain words used especially when you know the media and independents are watching.
"Like Hydrochlorquine works" they had a field day with that one, only problem is that it does work.

"the virus came from a chinese lab" -- wow, what a xenophobe, except of course, he is right about that as well.

"we'll produce vaccines in 2020" -- what a liar! Impossible! Except they did it. So again, make a big stink over something he said because they can't handle the truth.

"blue state lockdowns don't work, schools should be reopened". -- Yep, that is what the data is telling us. All those ones claiming to "respect the science" were liars.

These are just 4 of those tweets that "gave them ammunition. I suppose the "wiser" way is to not tell the truth.

So you think having Trump in office will increase opportunities for Christ to be preached. That's rich.

If you're talking about that lame video clip PennEd posted, I would hardly call that "preaching Christ." Every President we've ever had has probably done something like that at Christmas.

Philippians 1:15-18 assumes that the Christ who is being preached is the true Christ, albeit for selfish motives. Paul never advocated the preaching and teaching of a false Christ. Trump's Christ is false. Any Christ that doesn't require repentance and forgiveness is false.

I think you missed my point. Penn said Trump used Christs name. I pointed out that the Bible repeatedly warns that false prophets will do that.

Yes, but brother remember, Trump wasn't a polished career politician. They drip with fake words and false intentions. Oh they know what to say, but hollow as an old tree stump. He made mistakes you and I would, he didn't have polish, but that was also why we thought so much of him, he was plain spoken and real.
Oh for sure, no one is perfect. I was just stating improvements not that it would of mattered much. I think the election was rigged and the swamp was too deep.

No not at all what I meant. My example was him giving the media a hay day because of how he phrased good guys in the Nazi protest. That could of been avoided if it was worded differently. This happened a lot. No sense in providing ammo when you have every tool to get what you want to say across in a prepared statement. In context you understood he meant there were good guys in the mix who wasn't Nazis.

For the most part the C-19 vax/anti-vax stuff is over in that the government agreed that they no longer have funding for it and so those things are now in the individuals hands. https://www.npr.org/2022/03/15/1086...ut-of-money-to-cover-covid-tests-and-vaccines
