I'm just jumping into the fray and not aware of any previous comments or replies I simply am following a Christian Chat link that was in my email and am responding to the topic of the Blog which is If The Kingdom isn't here yet then what is JESUS CHRIST a King of?. I hear a Calvinist. They always use argumentative questions they can answer from their theology. If I am wrong please tell me. I'll admit it . An example would be a question " If God is in control why did Satan sin ' ?

It's a dumb question. Obviously Christ is king of the heavenly kingdom. He said his kingdom wasn't here on earth and it still isn't other than in a purely spiritual sense but it will come here in a literal sense at the 7th trump.

If JESUS is going to go and prepare a place for us, why would The Kingdom remain here?
Hi pittsburghjoe,

A very important question to discuss. The word `kingdom` indicates authority and power - rulership. It is not some bit of land for the whole earth and heavens God made and never gave them away. (Ps. 24: 1) What is being addressed is RULERSHIP.

Remember Lucifer had a throne in the highest realm, but was cast out because he sinned. Then Lucifer/Satan and his fallen angels usurped authority in the principalities and powers realm of the universe over mankind. Eventually they will be cast out of there and limited to the earth, till again reduced to the pit and then the lake of fire.

So we see that it is these rebellious rulers (Eph. 6: 12) that the Lord will be dealing with along with the world system and its leaders. (1 Cor. 15: 24 & 25)

Meantime the Lord the Head of His Body is building and maturing the believers till He comes for them. And we will be the first rulership to be restored in all of God`s great kingdom.

`To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne..` (Rev. 3: 21)

Note: there are other rulerships for other realms - New Jerusalem which comes down out of heaven to near the earth. This is the OT saints inheritance. (Heb. 11: 16) And then the new earth which will have kings. (Rev. 21: 24)

Could it be God's method to establish .....a choice for us..... under ......free will? Most likely.
That same question would have to be applied to all humans. That extended question must be answered also.

John 14:2-3
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

People that overcome ...doesn't that mean now?

Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Is the Judgment by JESUS to end Jerusalem tell us that He is Reigning over The House of Jacob from Mount Zion (GOD'S Kingdom) as a King (Luke 19:41-44)? "and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation."

If the Reborn are Kingdom Ambassadors, why are we waiting for a physical Kingdom like the Jews are? They are waiting for a Messianic Age, are we also or is LORD JESUS CHRIST Reigning right now?

Check out “amillennial eschatology”. What do people think is going on when they become Reborn? i’ll tell you, He becomes our KING.

Jews still haven’t figured out that GOD’S Kingdom isn’t physical. You become Reborn to enter it. You become Reborn for a Relationship with GOD.

very short video:

What Anointed King matches to the King in Psalm 72? What Jewish King asks for prayers continually besides the Ultimate King (Psa 72:15)? "prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised."
“The Kingdom of God is in, and around, you”.

Christ's kingdom is yet to be established. We are reminded what the thief on the cross said..."remember me when You come into your kingdom".
Christ's kingdom will look nothing as this ....sesspool. like..... we now have.

It is not this earth...now. The earth will be cleansed per scriptures..

Right now, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father as Prince and Saviour. He is the King in waiting to return.

Acts 5:
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

“The Kingdom of God is in, and around, you”.
The Kingdom of God ...per se....is yet to be realized.
Remember ...."I go to prepare a place for you".
That will be completed and presented to all beings after the tribulation period.

This earth and current life is not the Kingdom of God. It serves as a place to get prepared for participation in the Kingdom of God when God's plan is finished and made available.

Jesus said, The Kingdom of God is in you . Obviously He is enthroned as King of Kings of Heaven and earth. Jesus will return and bring the Kingdom with Him . However He that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit . “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the Kingdom of His Son. “ We be in the Kingdom and Jesus is the Head of the Church . So if you I don’t really understand the point , the body of Christ is in the Kingdom of God. Jesus is the Head of the Church which is in the Kingdom of God. So He be King . And as the Hallelujah Chorus says, “ The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth”. If you are in Christ you are in the Kingdom , you are not in Heaven you are on earth The Kingdom of God is in you , He that is joined to The Lord is One Spirit and God will return with the armies of Heaven for sure. I just don’t understand the blog topic.

That is when he will be the king of the Earth. He is not currently.

Well...call it as you wish.
Euphemisms are often used to express thoughts but, can be difficult to assemble in understanding.
If we are a repented soul, baptized and are living a righteous life one could be considered to be part of God's kingdom...when it comes.

Jesus said (Luke 17:21 Classic Amplified Bible version) “For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].”

Jesus Christ has always been the King. He is the Creator and King of Everything. PTL! (y)

When we pray about His Kingdom coming, we are referring to His Second Coming to Earth...

Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

Well we know that a unrighteous soul does not contain God in any form.

Sounds like a lot of confusion from your reformist theology. Seriously, I really don't want to go there > Back in the day we just took the Word of God literally. Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: KJV Euphamism don't even know what that means. I'm GED not PHD . As far as what is Jesus King of . Like maybe the entire cosmos seen and unseen including this time space world and all eternity Alpha and Omega style. Sure He has not imposed His rule as far and the New Heavens or New Earth or even the millineum but you are subject to Him down to the last atom of your flimsy carcass. Freewill and all . He never gave up sovereignty. So what is Jesus King of ? Everything. read my lips. There is nothing He is not King of.

LOL being reformist is the farthest for me. I was answering a previous post with a question of some confusion.
