In comparison to Warsaw, Poland 1944 we are seeing the same tactic on Ukrainian civilians.

Yes. And the same as Aleppo, Syria. No one seemed to care much then.
War is the same but no the geopolitical variables are different that deserves special attention.

There is also NATO reports and Russian leaked media reporting massive Russian casualties. NATO reports 40,000+.

Reports have confirmed at least 4 Russian generals killed, 1 general has surrendered and is considered a traitor, and 1 higher up affiliate to Putin fled the country.

Due to such resistance there is now intelligence of possible chemical weapons being used by Russian forces as they did in Syria.

Ukraine has lost at least 74 tanks—destroyed or captured—since Russia widened its war on the country starting the night of Feb. 23.

But Ukraine has captured at least 117 Russian tanks, according to open-source-intelligence analysts who scrutinize photos and videos on social media.

In other words, the Ukrainian army might actually have more tanks now than a month ago—all without building a single brand-new tank or pulling some older vehicle out of storage.

The Russians meanwhile have captured at least 37 Ukrainian tanks—a sum inadequate to compensate for the roughly 274 tanks it is believed to have lost to all causes.

I'm going to put on my tin foil hat for just a moment...

Why hasn't Russia used their front line equipment yet, especially those T-14 Armata tanks they are so proud of? Are they being held in reserve for something bigger?

Have they used this war with Ukraine just to get some urban warfare experience? Something they plan to use later may be in the Baltic states and/ or Poland?

Are they using this war to try out some of their weapons systems in a urban warfare environment? It could be argued that we did the same in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Are they testing some of their older but updated tanks to see how our latest anti-tank weapons systems work and perhaps develop defensive methods of systems against those weapons?

History has proven that the Russians don't mind losing their own soldiers in order to meet their objectives. There just seems to be a lot more to this story than what we hear.

Here in America, factories are running low or running out of raw materials, stores are getting low on groceries, crime is rampant and getting worse, people don't seem to care whether they have a job or not... As bad as it is, I suspect the same "81 million" will vote for status quo... Cause they like it.

Now, I'll take that hat back off...

History will disprove or prove everyone's speculations. All we have is what we see and hear now.

I think this is a good analysis.

1. Agree warm up for Russia

2. Russia can't afford to lose or retreat so if they have to they will escalate.

3. The western response helps Russia --

A. shutting down oil, fertilizer and wheat exports will cause massive inflation to the rest of the world as well as famine.

B. Cutting a deal to buy Saudi oil with gold backed securities undermines US dollar pushing the world to hyper inflation

C. Iran attacking Saudi Arabia can cut off oil exports which would be devastating to the entire world and Russia can ride to the rescue with their elite army as well as a union of Islamic nations.

So in conclusion this is not about Ukraine, it is about the Mid East, taking out Israel and to do that they need to take out the US first.

After some further research, it seems that T-14 is just a parade tank at the moment. The Russians are scared if they send one of these ultra modern tanks into combat, it may get abandoned and drug off by Ukrainian farmers. Worse yet, it could get sold to the Americans.

Even their front line Elite units are taking heavy losses. The Ukrainian military and volunteers are doing well. When you are fighting for family and home, you fight from the heart, for what matters!

Maybe the myth of the mighty Russian military has been shattered for the moment. We shall see in time.
