As I went about doing my duties at work today, a very sweet man came in & paid cash for his order. He asked the supervisor how many people were working this morning? The supervisor told him how many were there. He gave each of us a $2.00 tip. I've heard he does this quite regular but my first time being there when he came in. How sweet this man is to do such a thing. Just to brighten peoples day's. I can only pray that God will return his blessings many times over. Just goes to show there is still goodness in people in this world we live in. I hope all of you will have a Blessed Day.

wow thats nice.
we dont actually have the custom of tipping in nz
people dont carry lots of spare cash around. I think people prefer to be paid above the minimum wage though so that people dont feel they have to tip someone for just doing their job.

Though staff appreciate little bonuses every now and then, Last week everyone at my workplace got vouchers by the Board of Trustees for working through the pandemic. We got to choose, so I chose a garden centre voucher. So that was my unexpected blessing!

Somebody did that where I w*rk last week, gave everybody a one dollar tip.

Maybe it's the new "pay it forward" fad.

I went to a Dollar Tree to get something, my feet were hurting badly from standing & walking all day. I asked the cashier where I could find what I was looking for. He told me. As I was checking out, I shared my experience with what had happened that day at work & just for him being so sweet in helping me find what I needed without having to walk the whole store to find, I gave him the $2.00 that was given to me that day.. :)
