Thank you! :) Yes, she is kinda cute, isn't she? :giggle: I think she looks better with a mouth, though ;) Don't you? :D How do you do collage art using audio? Heh, sounds like music composition. Notes don't take up any space hahaha. That's one of the nice things about digital art, too, because I do not need any supplies or materials or space to work beyond my laptop. I have collected over ten thousand pieces to work with over the last four years. Some I have used multiple times, and some I have never used; now that I am working in a larger format, some I may never use because the image files are just too small. I did this one last night:

The font is too squished. I'll have to change it  And this one the night before:

I am still tinkering with both, but they are essentially done. I'm just very persnickety LOL
I'm a little rusty with my art terminology... how would you describe your color themes? I like the light oranges, magentas, yellows. I think I'd call it pastels? They look like the pastel chalk I used to do art with. Very comfy.

I like both of these here. With the Hebrews 12 one, is the woman she supposed to be dead, or sleeping, cause she kinda looks in extasy. = )

My audio collages is a radio show I do mixing audio clips with music; clips from film, TV, standup, skits, interviews mixed with music.

My joy and entertainment comes from the Lord, my parents/sisters/nieces and nephew and my students.

I do find joy in small things and moments too. I find joy in reading, kayaking, spending time in/on water, watching the clouds move, the sun set/rise, the sky full of stars, walking through the grass and even taking photos.

What is the source of your joy and entertainment?
Sometimes when I've got the kids around me, I don't say anything. I just sit and listen to them talk among themselves. That gives me a lot of peace and joy, sometimes it can be entertaining!

I find joy in a cup of coffee, an egg sandwich, and some hash browns.

I find joy when I clock out every evening.

I find joy every month when I've paid my bills and there is still plenty of month left with paydays to go!

I find joy in a fresh haircut.

There are other things I could list here, but with all that's going on in this world right now, I have a roof over my head, my family is ok, I have a job, I haven't been shot at or bombed out of my house, there are groceries in my kitchen, my car is running, and that's what I call joy!

Works for me.

Today I found joy in four chicken enchiladas.

I think I'll skip supper.

ok, that one's a little unfair Magenta.
Those are Jesus' words, Mr./brother 17Bees. If only you knew what young women really had to put up
with from men who cannot control themselves... then you might also say, and rightly so, that isn't fair.

And not just a little.

Well then tell your cartoon character how deeply sorry I am if I caused it offence.

Magenta, oh color opposite green :)

Men have to put up with garbage from women too. You can't see it as readily because you're not romantically involved with a woman ... I assume

People, not just men, Ms Magenta, suck.

Not sure where this is coming from. You are out of line.
Huh???? I was TEASING you. Holy crap. It was such a ridiculous statement I thought you, of all people, would understand that I was just being silly.

I also like how you colored the eyes and added the subtly matching peacock feather 'eyes'. The floral design is gorgeous! To fill in the flowers do you use patterns, or do you fill it in by hand with a program, like airbrush?

That sounds very interesting! Got anything we can listen to? :geek::D

Thank you! Are you asking about the color theme of the one/s I posted? Generally I prefer rich deep but bright vibrant colors. I like making them pop LOL. Though I have worked pastel shades, also; a recent one started out very pale pastels, and I liked the way it was shaping up, but the more I worked with it, the deeper richer and more vibrant it became. Haha. I do want to see if I can replicate the pastels again, though. It's all experimental, so I rarely if ever start with an idea of how I want it to look when it's done. But I have had that happen before and just recently, too, where I liked the initial stages of the panel I was working on, but it changed radically rather quickly, meaning all the first things added that I liked mostly disappeared under other things, so I started the very next one determined to use the same backgrounds and not have them disappear :giggle: That was these two:

2 Corinthians 10:4 plus Matthew 24:6

Hebrews 13:14
I kind of think of that woman you asked about as being exhausted from running
a race but exultant also. Tired in a good way :) The joy of resting in Jesus...

This is the one that started out all pastels:

Hebrews 2:17
She is in a garden with two trees :D Did I say that already?:giggle:

I also like how you colored the eyes and added the subtly matching peacock feather 'eyes'. The floral design is gorgeous! To fill in the flowers do you use patterns, or do you fill it in by hand with a program, like airbrush?
The images I save are often a stand alone individual item, like a butterfly, or for florals, presented either individually, as a corner set-up or bouquet, or a loose assemblage of various flowers together. When I add them, I position, size, color correct, etc, and actually do a lot of erasing to get rid of things I don't want. I added the feathers because feathers were part of the original, but without color. Here is a couple of examples of the flowers I used on her head:

1649475816912.png 1649475842207.png 1649476679175.png

Sometimes I will use something like that just for background color fill ;) To color her hair I overlaid two different items: a pink with white and blank spaces flowers background, and also something yellow... and then I traced every single black hair contour line with my eraser to return the blacks to black :giggle:

I designed this one this afternoon for Oblio, who has now left us:

And did some more tinkering with flower head girl :D

That font is better :)
