Thinking about aggression do you think thats why people go mad because they cant release their pent up aggression?

Im not sure if that the case, I mean, people that play aggressive competitive sport can still go mad...madness is more of an affliction than it being simply you cant express how you really feel.

Pipp, I reckon when me and the guys get together we engage in this activity all night. We will bust each others chops with comments like Bill is the smartest idiot I know. Or Jim is special, short bus special. However, we do it for fun and laughs so not at all the negative connotations you opined about So I do use backhanded comments but to my buddy's all for laughs.

Back handed compliments...I've had a few.
Often times they've made me feel terrible and "less than". 😕

As I read through this thread a saying came to mind that I'm sure many of you have heard.
Perhaps you need to hear it again?

we are meant to build up, encourage, not tear down and belittle

Whoops, I forgot to add this😂 to my post.

I have a friend who used to wear those things back in the day. She thought she looked both classy and that other word starting with an “S” and then there’s a “y” somewhere along the line.😁

Anyways, she made them shorter and shorter until there wasn’t much left to shorten and both cheeks came out to say hello. I think it’s safe to say that “classy” at that point of time was off the table.😁

I was referring to the fictional character, not the item of clothing, but I guess they are named after her, after all :D

And you did likely realize that, but clarifying just in case ;):) Yeah, classy is long gone by that point LOL

well, most of us dont have a personal dresser/stylist unlike the Queen

so, I suppose ppl have to make do with whatver rags we've got. You can probably safely say that old jeans can be recycled indefinitely and worn to bits.

Apparently they make good aprons cos the pockets are handy.

Im all for wearing pyjamas myself. They are just so comfortable and handy for napping in. Dont judge me
