More than ten years ago, there was a time when CCP shook hands with Christianity in the news and broadcast a documentary about Jesus.
Then things got worse and worse，First, you can't buy the Bible on the Internet shop, and then you can't publish things about faith on the Internet. you can only buy Bible at Church.

I don't know what happened in these days.
The Three Self association control the church. They hate the family church very much. I don't know whether they drove the CCP to make such a decision for financial reasons, but this can only be a guess. I don't want to make a rash judgment.

Frankly it is contractual , an IF or covenant thing. Christianity is saved people that is work of Christ applied. It is an obedience of faith covenant . Jesus Christ never changes . “ IF you obey my voice.” Christianity is obedience to Christ. If you do you will abide. If you don’t you’ll be fried. That rhymes.

This new missionary theory advocated the idea that native Chinese churches should be directed to the road of self supporting, self governing and self propagating, thus founding indigenous church which compromises Christianity and Chinese society and culture.

My feeling is that its operation is like a bureaucratic organization, without enthusiasm and flexibility.

That's a shame... America is experiencing a little of that. Government and "political correctness" is slowly turning people away from Christianity... Labeling the Bible as "hate speech".

Just goes to show the Bible is always right. Jesus said, "If they persecute you, remember they first persecuted Me" :cool:

I'm not sure what you're talking about,I am not living there.
If they say the label of Christianity as "hate speech". Maybe we should listen it humbly.
Then update ourself.

Because I know that in China, the way some believers preach gospel is really embarrassing.

A:"Jesus loves you."
B:"I don't believe"
A:"You will Go to hell."

I think this situation really makes people understand the Bible as "hate speech".

Sometimes I wonder how Paul and disciples preach the gospel to others.

Christianity is defined as God's way of redeeming humans who have disobeyed God by violating God's command in Genesis 2:17 by delivering them from the forbidden knowledge of good & evil through faith in Christ's sacrifice.

I have experienc lockdown before the Year.Now I just need wear a mask when I go outside.But In the last few days, needs to be tested COVID-19,I just received COVID-19 test this morning.

I hope that one day as Rome, Christianity will become a state Faith. LOL

I once heard that the bible is like a menu...it's how you get the meal.
I got the meal through the bible. In the long-term, it's all good!
My relationship with God has been restored through faith in His Son Jesus.

Yes, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Let you know, there was a time, I was degenerate.Then I heard a voice from heaven:"Why have you believed for so long? The more weaker you are."

I think that is how Paul and disciples preach the gospel to others.

Maybe that's the way a Christian should be.

All of these require acknowledgement of sin and longing for relief. For those who have gotten used to the status quo, those who blame the society for all their miseries, or those who have submitted to fate or karma, none of these mean anything to them.
