Your worship to Jesus glorifies Him or you?

The Creator was clear:

• Pro 19:27 -> “Cease to hear instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.”

One of the great problems with many believers today is that, many times, they think that they have better ideas than Jesus, being that Jesus was clear:

• Luk 6:40 -> “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”.

So, let’s mull over the Holy Scripture and seek out hearing Jesus’ voice before doing something. We need to give all the glory to Jesus and the way to do this is living by Him:

• 1John 4:9 -> “Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.”.

We don’t have the right to invent anything:

• 1Jn 2:6 -> “he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.”.
• Mat 12:30 -> “He that is not with me is against me, and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.”.

It suffices to see what came about Cain when he tried to offer something that didn’t have anything to do with the Creator. We can say the same about Nadab and Abihu (Lev 10:2):

• Lev 10:1,2 -> “And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took each of them his censer, and put fire therein, and laid incense thereon, and offered strange fire before Jehovah, which he had not commanded them. And there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and devoured them, and they died before Jehovah.”.

After all, when we do the things by ourselves, we are seeking glory for ourselves, what the Creator doesn’t accepts (Isa 42:8; John 5:34,41):

• Rom 4:1 -> “What shall we say then that Abraham our father according to flesh has found? For if Abraham has been justified on the principle of works, he has whereof to boast: but not before God;”.

So, have a good day glorifying Jesus at His way, and not yours.
