:) Silly is good.
So many people think Jesus was always so serious when here as man, but I like to think He had some silly moments every now and then too. I'm sure He had a good laugh or two when fellowshipping with His friends/disciples.
Just for the sake of honesty, I'm definitely one of those people who think that Jesus was and is always so serious.

After all, life is no joking matter.

Instead, it's a very real spiritual war, and the souls of men, women, and children are literally at stake.

Anyhow, like I said, that's just me being honest.

Love the hat and beard!
I probably have about 15 different Christian-themed ballcaps and somewhere close to 100 Christian-themed t-shirts and/or hoodies (many of which I designed myself). I've been wearing things like that for approximately 33 years, and they used to generate a lot of conversations about the Lord. Lately, like in the last few years, I've seen a noticeable decline in the same. People still read my hats, shirts, and hoodies, but I rarely get any comments on the same anymore. A sign of the times? Maybe.

As far as my beard is concerned, well, others have to look at me, so I figured it's best if I cover as much of my face as possible.

Consider it a charitable work...

:)

I can’t post any pics bc it says file is too large! 😭
I use Windows paint to re-size...
If you use postimages.org (which is an image hosting site) you can resize on upload to 640 pixels wide, which is generally large enough, and then select the direct link from the second line of links provided, to copy and paste into the appropriate image tags. I save my image file urls in a document for such, so that if I want to post the same image again, I simply search the document for it by name, or keyword in the verse. I am trying to get more thoroughly organized in this LOL. Another plus to using urls -as opposed to posting directly from your device- is that images posted by url transfer if/when your post is quoted, whereas images straight from your computer or phone do not (a link to the image is provided instead). You do not need to register to use postimages, nor will they delete your images at any time, though you can at any time if you save the page link when you upload it. The delete option is right at or near the bottom of links provided :)

What?!?

Okay...okay...

I'll go back to being my "normal" (I somehow felt that this word needed to be in quotes) sober-minded self.

I love Christian styled clothing and hats! That's cool that it started a conversation but it sucks that it isn't really anymore. It probably is a sign of the times.

You don't need to cover your face!

Did someone say christian themed clothes?

I found a shirt I like:

I probably shouldn't post a link to it - advertising on the forum, y'know - but you can google "I'm with the fourth man" shirt and find it.

(I can't wear it around the house though, or Grandma will say "Who's the fourth man" 700 times per day. Not even kidding.)

I haven't seen this one before.

Of course, there's some debate (what else is new?) about who "the fourth man" was in the fiery furnace.

Some claim that it was Jesus.

Others?

An angel.

Daniel chapter 3

[19] Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
[20] And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
[21] Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
[22] Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
[23] And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
[24] Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
[25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
[26] Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
[27] And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellers, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
[28] Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
[29] Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
[30] Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.

The underlying Hebrew word which is here translated as "angel" (vs. 28) only appears one other time in the Old Testament, and it is in this same book of Daniel:

Daniel chapter 6

[21] Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
[22] My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Anyhow...

Well, time to head out to see my children and to do a little shopping.

Have a blessed day, everyone.

What shall I wear?

This might do...
