Thankyou for the book mam, but I'm not going full on as a professional artist. Just drawing to pass time can you find a book for rookie like me. Take your time.

Ive attempted the Crucible, but it was a bit over my head.
This one sounds good - its teen fiction but the author is actually a descendent of Cotton Mather who was one of the men responsible for the Salem witch trials...its a ghost story, a love story and history all in one.
After he dad falls into a mysterious coma 15 year old Samantha Mather moves from New York to Salem with her stepmother to the town of her ancestors, but the descendants of those witches dont really want her back in town...

How to hang a witch by Adriana Mather

How about something with lots of underlying Christian themes... spacecraft but no aliens... apocalyptic but grounded in reality, no zombies... time travel... blood, guts, swords, and bullets... a super scary bad guy... crazy motorcycle and car crash scenes... smokin' hot and steamy romance... and a really weird unexpected ending?

you going to have to simplify your requirement am not sure what you want and dont want. Do you want an actual book or just a cheesy movie cos theres plenty of those, books dont have 'crazy motorcycle and car crash SCENES' unless its more like a graphic novel/comic.

epidemics

well, Im sure this is topical over the past few years

Ive read a few, the nost interesting accounts about the 1918 flu epidemic
There is a series published by scholastic that is historical fiction for young readers, usually written from a 12-14 year old point of view in diary format around historical events

In NZ the series is called My New Zealand Story
In the US its called Dear America
Australia , Canada and the UK also have their own versions

I have read most of the nz ones, and there was one called Pandemic, and Ive got Quarantine on my shelf to read. Its about smallpox or polio, I think.

will see if theres any titles in the Dear America series.

For some reason Alex Rider came to mind when thinking bout motorcycle or car crash scenes
it is a teen spy thriller series by Anthony Horowitz.
But any romance in it would be tame

You'd need to read Ian Flemings James Bond series for that.

I dont know if US has equivalent spy novels about the CIA or FBI. As I dont really read those. Probably you'll always be safe with a James Patterson novel, esp Maximum Ride series.
Also available in Manga
