Bishop Evans was drowned on Fri. when he tried to save two "migrants" trying to come across the Rio Grande. His body was found this week, he was 22 yrs old. The strong current took him under. The migrants he lost his life to save where two drug dealers. Either way, he is still a hero. Odd silence from BLM and the and the press. Had this happened on Trumps watch they would be screaming over each other to accuse him. smh Sad for this family who lost a wonderful son. But the left are highly hypocritical.

Psaki said it is not their fault, they are not responsible, and to be fair, Psaki and Harris and Biden have not advocated for saving anyone who is drowning trying to enter the US. This man who drowned, not their fault, they have not encouraged anyone to go save those who are drowning.

You can be outraged for them if you want, not that outrage will accomplish anything.

I would think the appropriate Christian action would be to comfort the family of the deceased.

Not to sound mean, but if you don't understand the issues maybe don't comment. Had this happened under a conservative gov't there would be no end to the outrage and anger. The last president was accused of putting children in cages when it was Obama who put the cages in place. The other party went to the border under Trump and literally cried and took photos and videos of themselves showing their horror of the situation. Now a young man was drowned trying to save two drug dealers lives. Barely a word was said, and if Biden visited the family, the news said nothing of it. This young man was a hero, and yet the entire media largely ignored the story.

God have mercy.

Perhaps too much to hope for but, may justice prosecute these men to the fullest if truly drug smugglers.
"The two migrants were taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. According to the military department, authorities believe the migrants were involved in drug smuggling."

A good soldier was lost, while alleged evil survived.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and colleagues. So very sad.

Incredibly so... he is a hero for certain, little comfort to his family though.
