12.5 tons between two units. That's a max of 44 kilowatts...

I have a 400 Amp three phase service @208 volts. That's 144.1 KW of power coming in.
Saying we need 216 kw of power....(costing us an extra month of delay and $60k)

I'm like...WHAT FOR? We don't need it. Here's the math...how on earth you are coming up with the addition needs is a mystery to me. (And everyone else who actually knows)

Can Mass be measured in sq ft? I thought it was a weight?

So does that mean it can be measured by sq ft? I understand it's not exactly weight, but it's not distance is it? Since it's a measure of force wouldn't it be better measured by lbs per sqft? I am learning here

Weight is a function of gravity...

What something weighs on earth is not the same weight as it is on Mars or Jupiter.

Y'all are confusing me, because I thought mass was weight also, and was told it's force not weight. I am going to my old math and science teachers on this one.

Math was the only thing preventing me from attending college as a freshman in highschool, instead of high school. I was at college level in everything but math, and since it was only one subject the school board met with my teachers because most didn't know what to do since they had nothing left to teach me but the school board decided that since I wasn't advanced in math too I couldn't go to high school for one subject and attend college for the rest.

I was upset about that, I wanted to attend college. So instead all my teachers said that I should just write essays about anything I wanted and turn it in for my school work. I spent every subject either in the library or playing chess with my history teacher - except for math... Lol

I graduated a year and a half early and am still horrible at math.

We got up on the roof today and took down model and serial numbers....

And looked at the specifications.
I was being very generous with 44 KVA. It's only 27. How on earth the lugs even hold the 6 awg wire is something of a mystery at this point. A 225 Amp breaker is designed with lugs to hold the wire that is bigger than most 2,000 sq foot home's main service entrance cable.

So....and looking at the disconnect beside the units they were both fused the same...fuses too big so they wouldn't blow no matter what...IOW a huge fire hazard waiting to happen.

And they are basing our electrical needs based on the over sized existing breakers. And we have paid them $5,000 to do an accurate assessment.

We are as hot as my oven cranked on highest temp possible.
They need to watch out...my partner is out for blood at this point.
