Welcome to all Gods chosen people and the whole world

In todays world there is so much incorrect information. Christ and him crucified is all that is needed. Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and has done a perfect work Give him all the praise honor and glory due his name

You can be sure God is not setting around waiting for you to accept him or allow him to save you. Your not required to do anything except praise him. Hes done it all. Our God sits in heaven and does whatsoever he pleases with whom he pleases, when he pleases and we give him all glory for his works not ours. There fore if you are chosens to represent him in this world{what a privalage and honor} tell others about his works and never claim you did anything. The good part is if choosen you will praise him, and proclaim Jesus is God and Lord of all the world. Oh that men would praise the lord for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men.....Psalms 107 Peace I leave with you let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid. I hope you find this peace and rest from all your works and just give praise to Christ and him crucified

Certainly, we can not be saved by works of any kind.......however; you appear to be discounting that the very first Sermon Jesus preached was.........

REPENT!

Unless, of course, you are a Calvanist.............

Christ and him crucified is all that is needed.
"Christ and Him crucified" is found in 1 Corinthians 2. Paul wrote this to the believers in Corinth:

"..for I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified."

And Paul also wrote this, in the same letter, to the believers in Corinth:

"And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal."

Therefore, "Christ and Him crucified" was the message to the believers in Corinth because they were immature, worldly. And just for note: It is not wrong to be immature, it is wrong to remain immature, which the saints in Corinth were at the time of Paul's writing.

But, Paul also wrote this in the same letter:

"However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

In conclusion, claiming "Christ and him crucified is all that is needed" is to claim that the church should remain in infancy and immaturity.

Jesus Himself said: Why is it you call Me Lord, Lord, & do not the things I say?
Like the old song: Trust & obey, for there's no other way, to be happy in Jesus..... but to trust & obey.

It amazes me that someone would give this OP a Red X. And worse, the OP is labeled as a potential Calvinist. It just never ends.
