"Your gates shall be open continually;
day and night they shall not be shut,
that people may bring to you the wealth of the nations,
with their kings led in procession.
12 For the nation and kingdom
that will not serve you shall perish;

those nations shall be utterly laid waste.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you,
the cypress, the plane, and the pine,
to beautify the place of my sanctuary,
and I will make the place of my feet glorious."

The Jewish religion is antichrist
2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2Jn 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

What sickens me the most is the Israeli government sniper teams shooting children. This in itself, is a war crime

I was once a devoted believer in Israel and defended them whenever/wherever I could.
Now I am a bit confused, should I ignore the above or not?
You tell me
I feel the same way as you. For decades I was pro Israel and not pro Arab/Palestinian. That has changed, and now I'm neither pro Israel nor pro Arab/Palestinian. The reason that I'm not for either side is that I believe that neither side wants peace. After all, both sides have been warring with one another since 1948 and neither side will make any meaningful concessions. Furthermore, I believe that each side is filled with hate for each other, the old 'Eye for an Eye' credo.

Both the Israelis and Arabs/Palestinians use the USA for their own purposes. They have successfully entangled the US in their conflicts and the Mideast region. This has cost the lives of many US soldiers in various wars in the region and also many US civilians in terrorist attack.....ie World Trade Center....

So, what to do? It's been 75 years since the establishment of Israel with no progress toward peace. I believe that the US should have a complete 'Hands Off Policy' toward both sides and the region itself. Let them slug it out and kill themselves until they are tired of the carnage. As William Tecumseh Sherman once said, " War is hell. Let us make war so miserable that our enemy will never want to fight again." And you know, Sherman's philosophy worked. He ravaged the Confederates, destroying everything they had. Since the end of the Civil War, the Southerners have been the most patriotic citizens of the USA, never going to war with the North again.

There is hope for the Mideast. Let the Israelis and Palestinians follow the path of the Protestants and Catholics of Northern Ireland. Stand back and let them kill/murder each other until they become so sick of it that they will make peace. The Protestants and Catholics did make peace, while they may not love one another, they do live in peace.
But like the Protestants and Catholics, the Israelis and Palestinians must want peace. And frankly they don't.

My approach may seem cold hearted, but, after 75 years nothing else has worked.

I think it may help to post something that provides insight into how the Israel-Palestine conflict of today began.

https://encyclopedia.1914-1918-online.net/article/british_mandate_for_palestine#Background
There is no such thing as a Palestinian. The land of Israel was renamed Palestine by the Romans, after they effectively destroyed Israel.

"In an attempt to completely erase Jewish history from the land, Emperor Hadrian renamed the province of Judea " Syria Palaestina." This is the origin of the region being referred to as "Palestine." Hadrian also changed the name of Jerusalem to "Aelia Capitolina,"
Quote from Bill Federer, "American Minute." Other sources confirm this.

There is nothing new under the sun. So-called Palestinians are still trying to erase Israel's history. Israel is not perfect, but it does not deserve the vitriol that is poured out by many. God's wrath was poured out during the holocaust. His blessing rests on Israel now.

Nations that despise, abandon, persecute or wage war with Israel suffer loss. I'm English. Britain used to be great. They turned away from Israel and supported the Arab nations. There is nothing great about Britain now and it's getting worse as Brexit bites.

All Christians should love Israel imho, but love for Israel does not necessarily mean unconditional support for the current Israeli government. Israel will find Peace when she returns to her Messiah, Jesus Christ. Christ prayed that Jerusalem would recognize Him.

Mat 23:

"37“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 38Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’ (Psa 118:26).

Israel only exists because the USSA funds it.
Not really. While US support is critical, Israel has developed its own capabilities. And above all, God has been involved with unbelieving Israel all along. A couple of things to note:

1. Both the Obama and Biden administrations hated and hate Israel.
2. The EU hates Israel and favors Iran because they can profit from that.
3. The UN hates Israel and would like to see it wiped off the map.
4. The Israeli government also hates Israelis, in that they insisted on using the bogus COVID vaccines against their own people, who have been decimated or maimed unnecessarily.

All those that have faith in Jesus and follow Him are the true Israel. That's the Israel we should focus on and be concerned about.
