You're correct.

I misunderstood your post in my haste (I'm juggling a few different things at the moment).

My bad.

:(

To your actual point, this is what angels were originally created by God to perform:

"Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14)

The writer here was citing from the following psalm:

"Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:" (Psalm 104:4)

Since their rebellion against God, God still uses them to perform his purposes.

Now, they're basically used to deceive those who hate God and the truth.

Basically, God is just giving the people what they want.

In other words, if they don't want him, the one true God, then the only "other gods" are Satan and demons.

The choice is ultimately ours.
Our choice? Didn't Jesus say we don't choose him, he chooses us?

And, no one comes to him unless the father leads them?

No, he did not say that.

He said that at the Last Supper which was attended by him and his twelve apostles.

Furthermore, when he said it, Judas had already left to betray him.

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." (John 15:16)

CONTEXT is everything.

And, no one comes to him unless the father leads them?
Unless the Father draws them.

And who does the Father draw?

John chapter 12

[32] And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
[33] This he said, signifying what death he should die.

God's covenants are likened to marriage covenants all throughout scripture.

God invites us to the wedding, and we choose whether or not we're going to accept his invitation.

It's that simple.

Anyhow, let's not derail the thread.

The topic is whether or not Satan and demons can find redemption, and they cannot.

Ephesians 1:4 Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Maybe Revelation 1 and the angels of the 7 churches, and the angels in Jesus' right hand, the symbol of God's power, are the fallen angels.

It's odd that God uses demons and Lucifer to his own ends. And tasks them with bringing harm to those who reject him and then condoms them for the fallen nature he exploited to his own ends.
Especially when the only ones that don't reject God are those he predestined to save. Leaving those he didn't to suffer under the fallen angels he sends to plague them.

Your understanding of "predestination" is extremely faulty.

Anyhow, perhaps we can discuss that on some other thread some day.

In the meantime, I'll not participate in another thread hijacking.

It's not a thread hijack. It's actually all interrelated.
My understanding of predestination is per the bible. Often the elect of God seems to pertain to electing not to face what God tells us of himself.

In the Bible, it says that Jesus said that he would not cast aside any that came to him, what if Lucifer therself knelt before Jesus and asked for forgiveness?
.. Nothing... his judgment is already done... he cannot reach forgiveness... that is why Blessed be his name, that we do not deserve it that he has forgiven us and given us Salvation...

It won't/can't happen. Lucifer is no more. He made himself God's adversary, turning from light to darkness. He is utterly corrupt and his destiny is fixed. God has already prepared the place for the devil and his fallen angels.

Satan plagues Christians too. He is the accuser of the brethren, the liar and deceiver. The world is under Satan's control already. He does not bother with the average puppet. He does attack the born again relentlessly. That's because we are a threat. The world is not.

clearly a book does not need to be inspired to be truthful. we see joshua and king david quoting the book of jasher, found in our own bible, like we see Jesus, paul, peter, and jude quoting enoch. it's good to look at the bible from the time period each book or letter was written. the new testament is full of enoch, because there are many truths found in enoch that Jesus, paul, peter, jude, and many others found truthful when they wrote their own inspired thoughts. but the belief in 1st century israel by all was that demons are the spirits of the dead nephillim who were sons of fallen angels. so they are not nor ever were angels, just the offspring of them. this can be found in many books, not just enoch.

I think we are remiss if we don't realize how it is Satan is lord of this world.

And as we know Satan plagues everyone God allows.

clearly a book does not need to be inspired to be truthful. we see joshua and king david quoting the book of jasher, found in our own bible, like we see Jesus, paul, peter, and jude quoting enoch. it's good to look at the bible from the time period each book or letter was written. the new testament is full of enoch, because there are many truths found in enoch that Jesus, paul, peter, jude, and many others found truthful when they wrote their own inspired thoughts. but the belief in 1st century israel by all was that demons are the spirits of the dead nephillim who were sons of fallen angels. so they are not nor ever were angels, just the offspring of them. this can be found in many books, not just enoch.
to continue my thought. if God had israel kill the remaining nephillim whose dna survived noah's flood and whose spirits became demons. God is not planning on giving them salvation even if they beg for it.

Revelation 12:7-12

7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back,
8 but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

Lucifer had done wrong in heaven and wanted God's place and I am sure that God gave Lucifer a chance to repent but he didn't take it and no, the Bible doesn't give the whole story, but it gives us pieces of the story -like above that Lucifer becoming Satan was thrown out of heaven with his evil angels that followed him. At some point God knew Satan would not change his mind and he was evicted from heaven.

Ezekiel 28: 14-16

14You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for I had ordained you. You were on the holy mountain of God; you walked among the fiery stones.
15From the day you were created you were blameless in your ways— until wickedness was found in you.
16By the vastness of your trade, you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mountain of God, and I banished you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.…

Ezekiel 28:17
Your heart grew proud of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor; so I cast you to the earth; I made you a spectacle before kings.

Isaiah 14: 13-14

They are 100% evil. They do terrible things. Fallen angels and demons are real, and they hate us with a pure hatred. They would destroy us right now if they could, but they have limited power and numbers. If you ever encounter any of these vile creatures, use the name of Jesus and they'll be gone instantly. That has been my experience. I've read and watched others online that have had the same experience.
"…18So He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you. 20Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”…" - Luke 10:18-20 BSB

Jesus mentioned everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. I am unaware of any scripture that addresses the idea of a demon repenting and what would happen. Why should we bother to speculate on this scenario? If it happened, what God would do is up to God. The Bible teaches us about salvation for mankind.

Re: the Revelation verse alone. Revelation, that which is revealed to come.
Yet, Satan was already on earth and well before its writing. Whereas that passage makes it sound futuristic.
The devil andhis angels cannot repent.....because they don't believe they are wrong.
God uses them for his purpose because of their nature.
